Question:	are the female threads part that connect to the wand metal or plastic
Answer:	I would not recommend this for 500 devices. There would be better enterprise grade units I would recommend over this. I start see 50% hardware utilization with ~70 simultaneously connected devices. Much more I would think would cause noticeable slow down. The router does support multiple subnets, so I suppose you could technically connect that many devices, but i would suspect degraded performance if all users attempted to use simultaneously, it just would need a beefier processor and a little more ram.
Question:	how many gpm
Answer:	Yes, it should automatically do that. I have it setup for two WAN connections, to do this function explicitly. That's why I purchased this product, and its price/performance ratio, compared to other brands with similar function. To test load sharing in general, I restricted/throttled bandwidth for the UTT to share the two WAN ports at the same time, using the firmware in the device -- sometimes it worked properly, and lately it has not worked properly (I measured bandwidth at speedtest-dot-net and compared to UTT settings)

Answer:	It will work with Windows 8 but I threw my NEW EA 2700 in the trash and bought a Netgear. Linksystems really went down hill plus if you buy their online software, they have hidden in the terms of agreement that you agree they can monitor your computer. Must be trying to help big brother.

Answer:	I have a two story house not including the basement and a master Suite off the back of the house (single story) and I could not get full coverage in the master suite which I need. I have my router in the second floor. which helped but did not give me master suite range. I purchased an EA2700 and it did not have the range I needed. I went back to my old Linksys G router that has better range. Still have the EA2700 but don't use it.

Answer:	I don't exactly know how many gpm, but I do know that it does not work very well for me. Instead of a shower, the water just goes through it in a stream as if it wasn't even there. It apparently does not build up enough pressure within it to cause the water to form a shower.

Answer:	It is only tested and manufactured for outdoor, cold water use only. If you use it for anything other than its intended purpose, it will void the warranty on the product. Orbit cannot say how the product will perform under conditions other than outdoor, cold water use.

Question:	Does the trigger itself (not the round knob on the handle) allow the smooth adjusting of the water flow from partial to full force as it's watering? I
Answer:	Yes. That knob allows total flow control, from full force to off. I’ve had this wand for 2 years and it functions perfectly. My only complaint is that the anodized finish on the metal wand has flaked off exposing the underlying metal, which has become oxidized. It looks terrible but the functionality has not been impaired.

Answer:	The manifold you asked about does have shut-off valves on each port. However, this manifold is not made for orbit systems with timers. This manifold does not have a place to mount the automatic timer unit. I purchased this manifold to use with an orbit automatic timer system and had to make some "modifications" to get it to hold the timer unit. Hope this helps.
Question:	Can anyone explain "thumb control"? I am looking for something toddler proof
Answer:	Other than replacing the washer buy some new ones. Don’t get the cheap version thats plastic

Answer:	It’s made of brass. I believe the inside is as well. Works pretty good. Wouldn’t recommend on a leaky faucet though, the plastic turn handle begins to strip.
