| Answer: | I've had mine for 3-4 years. The internal ball is an undetermined metal (to me). It is shiny and appears to be chrome. Chromed brass is the most likely material, but polished stainless steel is a possibility. The material that it rides within and seals the water is made of a synthetic material which could be Teflon or plastic. I have 2 of these nozzles. Neither leak. The handle is easy to turn and does not require a tight grip. As pricey as they are, since I am tired of all the junk on the market, the quality of this item is worth the cost to me. I will buy 2 more. |

| Answer: | It looks like it can be turned 180. The end of the threaded shaft that is visable has two flats. However, the body is a 1-1/4 in. hex. So a female hose connection greater than 1-1/4 in. dia. would interfere with the lever and not allow full turn on. A simple brass female hose coupling should clear. |

| Answer: | You should buy a brass shut off valve as well as this to turn off the water when you aren't watering. Some of these are wands with the shut-off valve on the handle and the water breaker at the hose end. I have both types and couldn't water without either! Product that should last a lifetime. |

| Answer: | I don't know. The Dramm 82342 400AL Heavy Duty Water Breaker has standard garden hose threads in it, I don't know if the threads are the same or different on the ColorMark Rain Wand. I put the Water Breaker right on the end of a garden hose. This year, I'm going to add a piece of PVC pipe to extend the reach for watering in the garden. That Water Breaker sure is well made and a quality product to have. It delivers a full volume of water real quick. |
