Answer:	Once you set your program - it will last as long as the batteries last. Get some extra-strength batteries and you should be ok for two weeks.
Question:	Can this be programmed to spray every five minutes for the duration of one minute
Answer:	the directions you can set the water duration from 1 to 240 minutes. You can set the water frequency as every 6 hours, 12 hours, or from 1 to 7 days. Not sure if this will help you or not. I like the timer. We have them set up all over the property.
Question:	Can each port be programmed with independent frequencies
Answer:	On the TWO-PORT, each can be set independently. Answer:	I guess you could try it... but because of the leather I would not put in dryer... dry in a shaded well ventilated space... sun will shrink leather etc. Great gloves for the price and a cute print :)

Question:	Can you give more detail about hooking it up to a anti-siphon setup. I need new valves so I bought 57623 as well. How would it clip on the pipe
Answer:	The battery only specific solenoid that comes with the timer unit should be screwed into the siphon valve just as you would any other ordinary solenoid. The cable attached to the solenoid plugs into the bottom of the timer unit. The timer unit comes with a bracket type holder that clips on the timer unit. There is an opening that enables the timer unit while attached to the bracket slides onto the top of the solenoid holding the timer unit in place. Hope this answer helps you.
Question:	Can this be mounted to a rainbird valve
Answer:	The rainbird valve's solenoid may have different threads, so the solenoid from this Orbit timer would have issues threading into the top of the valve.
Question:	How do i connect this as an anti siphon valve? the inlet is straight across and i need it to be 90 degree like dig solar powered timer
Answer:	Jessica, you will need to replace your current anti-siphon solenoid with the solenoid from this timer. The timer itself should clip on the vertical section of pipe.
Question:	Can I just swap the DC solenoid onto the existing irrigation valve
Answer:	It all depends on what the existing valve is. As long as the valve is a plastic (light green) Orbit valve, it should work. I have it connected to Orbit Automatic Converter Valve (Part #57029) and it works fine. However, the DC solenoid is incompatible with the heavier duty Orbit brass bodied valves.

Answer:	Yes, The timer has 3/4 inch hose thread. If you were going to use it on the end of a pipe, there are adapters to get from hose to pipe and vice versa. As far as I know, Orbit does not have the adapters, but Home Depot, Lowes or most any hardware store sells them.

Answer:	They last quite long, as the unit itself died before the batteries did! In our salt air environment, we just replaced the unit after about 10 months. Good product!

Answer:	The frequency is set by the number of days...so 1 is every day, 2 is every two days, and so on. You can also set every 6 hours or 12 hours. And you have start times as well.
Question:	Would someone kindly explain why this Orbit with a brass connector gets lower ratings than what looks to be the same timer with a plastic connector
Answer:	I personally prefer brass connectors, plastic have the potential to crack or ruin the connecting threads if they are not properly aligned; my personal experience.

Answer:	Hey Wendy - no need to reapply. You'd be putting too much fertilizer down on your lawn - you should be ok. You may need to spot treat some weeds that the weeding part did not take care of.

Answer:	Yes! This product has been tested to efficiently control goosegrass for up to 1 month. This product is a post emergent only and will not prevent the weed.

Answer:	When applying the All in One Weed & Feed with this particular spreader you would use a setting of 2.

Answer:	That is a great question! When using All in One Weed & Feed, you would want to make sure you have a listed lawn type. This is to ensure that you are not going to harm your grass when making the application. Since you are not sure which grass you have, I would recommend treating a small area, in a inconspicuous part of the lawn. Answer:	HomeKit compatibility promised at release at beginning of year (2018). As of June 1, 2018, still no HomeKit compatibility. Orbit needs to stop promoting the product based on HomeKit compatiblity until it actual works—and retract all those (fraudulent?) press releases online and wherever else promising HomeKit compatibility.
Question:	How does the WiFi hub connects to the timer? Is there a distance limit between them
Answer:	The timer itself has only bluetooth. The hub bridges the timer with your wifi connection. Distance should be within 50 feet if possible.

Question:	Will this work with the orbit 20066 portable 1/4-inch outdoor mist cooling system? i want it to mist for a few minutes every 5 minutes or so
Answer:	I don’t think it will work as you want. You can set it for a set time frame but then have to set for another.....can’t set for intermittent timing.
Question:	How does it hold up to freezing temperature
Answer:	I live in Michigan. I take them in if it even looks like it might freeze. I doubt they would hold up in freezing temperatures.
Question:	Does this timer have a mode that bypasses the timer feature to keep the water on all the time
Answer:	Not that I"m aware of. But at normal flow through a garden hose, it will run at about 8 gallons a minute or 480 gallons in an hour. That's a lot of water in the garden. I find the product to serve me well.
Question:	can the timer be set for less than 15 minutes
Answer:	The dial on the timer goes from 0.......15.......30 etc. so yes you could set it for less than 15 mins. I have not tried this though. This little timer is well worth the money.

Question:	Can I schedule it to run every 10 days or 45 days? How long of an interval (not runtime duration) can I set
Answer:	10 days yes, 45 days no. It has 32 day max interval setting with 4 hour run time max. I just verified on my orbit app.
Question:	Is there an adapter available to connect this to a metric fitting/faucet/tap
Answer:	It’s a regular US hose connection so if you can find an adapter for that...
Question:	Can i set the valve to come on at certain times of the day and then go on vacation and have it still run when I'm gone or do I need the wifi adapter
Answer:	It will still work when you are gone, but you would not be able to communicate with it. If you use the WiFi adapter it will be fully functional from wherever you are via the app. With Bluetooth only, you could set it up but once you are far away it would be on its own. Also, with no connection to the internet it would not know the weather. If you set it up (very simple to do) it watches weather forecasts and goes into “rain delay” and does not water if there is rain. It’s a great system and a very easy to use app. When traveling I see it come on and off and do rain delays. I can also turn it on/off anywhere I am, or reset the schedule.
Question:	will this work with smarthings hub or the 12 station bhyve timer
Answer:	I was able to get this to work with 12 station timer. Use the app to connect the smart hose faucet timer via Bluetooth and under device settings add it to the your 12 station bhyve timer group

Question:	Can this water timer be set to water only on certain days of the week (e.g. Monday and Thursday only?) We have a water restriction that requires this
Answer:	You have to trick it; use both positions on the same watering line. Then set one of the outlets to water once a week starting Monday; wait 3 days and set the other to water once a week (starting Thursday). Be careful when changing batteries or otherwise interrupting the cycle. It's not perfect because it doesn't know what day of the week it is. I haven't tried this; it seems like this is the way it would work.
Question:	How would you compare Orbit and Claber
Answer:	I don't have the Claber, but Orbit works fine and is easy to use--this is the second year of use and I have 2 of these. Only thing, the connection for the hose is plastic, so just make sure you screw the hose on accurately or you will strip the connection and ruin the timer. Kay
Question:	How frequently do you need to change the batteries
Answer:	I have used these (Orbit) or similar Orbit battery sprinkler timers for years. They are amazing. They use AA battery x 2. I have never gotten less than 2 years of use out of the 2 batteries and have some going on 2+ years. They display starts to get dim at some point as the batteries age but the timer will still work. At this point I replace the batteries. Such a bargain. I will never use a 24VAC sprinker controller again.
Question:	Do you have to attach a water hose to each of the the three outlets at the bottom, program it and it automatically waters your lawn
Answer:	It is a digital timer. Two of the three water outlets can be programmed and one is a manual outlet. You attach a source hose (water inlet) to the top of the unit and you have the option of water turning on for the two programmed outlets on the under side. Proper placement of the sprinklers and or irrigation system and it can automatically water lawns, flower beds, what ever you want.
