Answer:	I have owned a 50ft for about 6 years. Never had any problems with it. On a hose reel I would roll it up pressurized. It will be easier to handle because it dosen't want to twist, it will remain straight easier. Also rolling it up unpressurized it will flatten out on the reel. So next time you turn it on it can't expand properly and could restrict flow. They make some good air hoses to.
Question:	How much does the 100' hose weigh? One description lists an item weight of 7 pounds and a shipping weight of 15.3 pounds
Answer:	100' is 16 pounds, 75' is 12 pounds and 50' is 9 pounds. Definitely about the lightest weight hose you can find. Gatorhide is a very similar hose with similar weights. They feel deceptively light weight. The great thing about these hoses is they almost absolutely never kink when they are under full water pressure. Well, they do, but because of the rubbery construction the water pressure pops the kink out by itself in about 1/4 second or so. You wouldn't even know the hose kinked if you blinked. I have a business soft washing dirty roofs, houses and building exteriors and my employees and I absolutely love this hose.

Answer:	No I definitely wouldn’t. I might have just got an old one but mine was terrible, it kinked continuously. I’m positive continued pressure would cause it to fail. Beautiful hose but super light duty.

Answer:	I can only talk about the 100’ hose, which I would not buy again. It kinks and twists up, the very things it advertised wouldn’t occur. You might have improved performance w a 50’er. I cannot say anything about the absence of the plastics that are of concern.
Question:	Warranty - I cannot get the company to honor their warranty. Has anyone else had this problem
Answer:	google the question in search and more than a few websites will show you how. There are a few holes on the cartridge but only one is the right one to insert the syringe. and very slowly. better yet buy a laser printer. I eventually did. Got cheap one at office depot for $69. One toner cartridge good for 3k copies. inkjet cartridges are a rip off

Question:	Is this hose simple to wind up when you are finished and how small does it wrap up? Need to store it in house daily during winter for farm chores
Answer:	You might just have a bit of dirt in the bearings (those little round balls that roll in the nozzle to open and close) Try this: Open the nozzle up so you can really see the ball bearings. Rinse them well under fast running water. When all granules of dirt are gone and bearings can roll smoothly again, spray a little WD-40 (or other lubricant) on those bearings to help keep the rolling. Then, try to avoid dropping the nozzle on the ground where more dirt can get into those bearings again.
Question:	For anyone who has had it for more than 1-2 years & has extremes in temps: does it maintain flexibility after temps go into the 30s
Answer:	DEFINITELY NOT!!! My last one burst after I wasn't using it for under 1 minute. These are great hoses, but break usually in less than a year. I have had one break after only 3 months of use. Even still, I would not go back to the old heavy ones, these are so much more convenient. When I use them, I now will immediately turn off the water and drain it when I am done (or not done, but stopping use for more than a few seconds). Do not leave full for even a few minutes. Only took 1 minute to break mine.
