Answer:	I've used them under a sliding shelf. The only problem I have is that if I want to remove the shelf, it is difficult to get to the release device on the drawer slides. It's much easier to manipulate the drawer slides if you mount them on the sides of the sliding shelf (or drawer, etc.)

Answer:	The cable organizer itself is rubber. As to the adhesive on the back of it, I can't say. As a suggestion, you could remove the adhesive and replace with velcro that is created for water exposure.

Answer:	I have a single power cable in mine that measures 5/16" in diameter and it pretty much maxes out the fit capacity of these Cable Clips. You may be able to get a single 3/8" diameter cable to fit. I'd suggest you measure the diameter of each individual cable you plan to use, then start measuring their diameter in bundles. I don't think you can go past a 3/8" diameter as a single cable or a total bundle. My 5/16" power cables fit one per clip and they are snug and secure. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I don’t know the exact rating but it is made for low-voltage like 12 V or 24 V connections. Not 120 V use.

Answer:	I would guess that they do not have enough solder, in the joiner, to be effective. Or there is not much call for that gauge wire, they can not be all things to all people. For that, strip the wires, place some shrink tubing on one of the wires, solder, let it cool, slide the shrink tube over, shrink it. Some times, when there is sufficient wire length, I place two different size shrink tube,. shrinking the smaller one first, letting it cool. The slide the larger one over the other.

Question:	How does this compare to the tape? Anyone tried both
Answer:	This product is pretty "stiff" under normal conditions, and is therefore very limited on bend radius - you can not form it into a tight bend without kinking it. It needs only a push-on barbed irrigation connection to work fine at pressures of at least 30 psi in my hookup. Since you plan to run heated water thru it, it will be much more "limp" and may need to be fastened at every connection with a hose clamp. With that precaution, and keeping in mind the bend limitations, I see no reason why it should not work.
