Question:	How fast is it
Answer:	the bracket came with mine. I bought pins from local hardware. Contact seller for bracket and the bracket will fit on the front or back of 4-wheeler by using two u-bolts also got at hardware.

Answer:	I don’t think this spreader would spread native grass seed very well. It doesn’t have an agitator. The tufted native grass seed would just sit in the hopper. You might be able to add or mix in some type of carrier like wheat seed and it would spread okay.
Question:	will this fit on my john deere ridding mower
Answer:	The mounting plate is 8" or 10" square with four U bolts to mount it to the tubes on the rear carry rack of a ATV.It has two has two hitch pins to mount the spreader to the plate. I just welded the plate to a 2"x2" square HHS tube and mounted in the receiver of my Polaris Ranger works great! I used a choke cable to open and close the gate.
Question:	can this carry two 10 year old kids
Answer:	Yes you can. The tub is plastic and the spreader mechanism is metal so it can rust if left in for long periods. I use it to spread salt, fertilizer, lime, sand, and seed. Fertilizer and salt are the most corrosive and I rinse the inside when finished for the season and give it a light coat of WD40 and have had no issues. Make sure the salt is dry or it will clump up and not spread. You might not want to start with a full load at first and see how it does before filling it all the way up. I did make a brace to mount under the spreader to help sturdy it up and it makes it solid as some materials are pretty heavy when you fill it all the way up.

Answer:	A light weight aluminum/metal. It appears very sturdy. My husband has been very pleased with this item.

Answer:	This product doesn’t throw very far. 3 ft wide. The shroud restricts the throw distance. We modified ours by cutting the shroud around the thrower and now it throws about 15 feet in all directions.

Answer:	Yes. Hooks up to the ATV/UTV and has a switch to turn on or off.
Question:	what is tge best way to clean after spreading fertilizer? can i just spray the motor off with a hose is the motor sealed
Answer:	I scrub mine with soap and water and a stiff brush and then hose off. Afterwards when it dries and before storing I always spray the metal shaft on the spinner motor with a lubricant. If you don't do this a lot of the time the spinner shaft will be froze up the next time you try and use it.

Answer:	It comes with brackets and u-bolts (4 total) to attach two main square tube supports to the rear rack of the 4-wheeler (the sit on top of the rack). The spreader also has 2 square tube brackets, that are slightly bigger than the ones on the 4-wheeler and you just slide it onto the main supports until the lock pin hole line up. From there, insert the lock pins provided and connect it to the battery.

Answer:	Yes it will keep U hoping loading it! The only complaint is that I had to make a shield between the atv and the spreader wheel. I a lot on me and the rear of my atv.

Answer:	the arm rest does not come off ,it is just a rest for the forearm. to rest on.

Answer:	I would say no it has a thing on the only unit that you slide out that gives you support reaches up towards your mid arm to give you support to hold it with one hand and then you can use your crank for the other I have carpal tunnel I have arthritis and you'll be all right

Answer:	It is a function of how fast you turn the spreader handle. For me it's about 6 feet wide.

Answer:	I would think so. Don't know the size of Zinnia seeds but settings provide for pretty big opening for distribution. Have only used it for granular fertilizer and worked very well.

Answer:	I do not have hitch attachment. Straight hang off the tailgater, works fine, but would like the versatility of the hitch attachment to other vehicles.

Answer:	Mine came with 2 brackets that looped over the tailgate of my Mule.

Answer:	Not directly with what it comes equipped with. It is designed to hang from a tailgate by means of two steel pieces which for an inverted "U". Supporting from a trailer hitch can be done but you will need the hitch attachment, also sold by Jeff and then some jury rigging to fasten the hitch piece to the feeder. Good luck..

Question:	Wheels in one pic are bolted together with 4 bolts and nuts, but the pic of the "whole" do not show the bolts. are they 2 or 1 piece wheels
Answer:	If I remember correctly they are 1 piece wheels, but I was never successful in getting it assembled.....
Question:	Does this have plastic gears? I have read a lot about these and ones with plastic gears wear out quickly
Answer:	No! The drive and the lever that sets the opening are metal. The covering over the metal is plastic to protect it from the elements. If I were allowed to take a picture and attach it, I would, it is NOT plastic. Most of the wear and tear parts are metal with the exception of the hopper, inflatable wheels, and the little fan that distributes the product from the hopper. The drive which determines how fast the little fan moves to distribute the product rotates based on the speed you are going. This is hooked to the same metal bar that rotates the wheels and then to the part that rotates the fan. I’m sure that I’m not using all the proper names because I’m not a mechanic, but hopefully this all is a non-techie view. The machine operates exceptionally well, and I can easily compare it to the ones costing $250 dollars. The mechanisms are all built the same with the exception of the hopper and the fan which distributes the production; in the $250 spreader these are metal. However, both still only spread 4’. If you spend more $400, you can get a spreader with an axial; this doesn’t have one! The wheels on this are big and far better than the $250 one I had! Hope this helps!

Answer:	Yes, in winter the BS36BH Broadcast Spreader can handle bagged rock salt that has been filtered through a screen to eliminate clumps. Rock salt delivered in bulk is not recommended. In addition, this tow behind will also handle sand and other ice melt agents.
Question:	Does the gear box have greese in it
Answer:	The gear box does not have grease in it.
Question:	Can this be used with a real tractor? one that has pto and a drawbar
Answer:	I would think much too small to use with a large tractor! This drives from the wheels -- not PTO driven. Hitch is not made to hook to a drawbar.
Question:	does it have an agitator
Answer:	I have a Brinly tow behind fertilizer spreader. It has a single short section of stiff wire about two inches or more long that is in the bottom of the hopper and attached to the vertical shaft that drives the rotating spreader below. The wire rotates in a horizontal plane at the bottom of the hopper to break up the fertilizer so it can drop through the opening and onto the rotating spreader below. It seems to work well as long as the fertilizer in the hopper does not have a lot of real hard lumps. If your fertilizer has got moist at some time and dried out leaving it with hard lumps, then it is best to break them up by hand before trying to spread it. I hope this answers your question.

Question:	Will this spreader work for sand or salt in the winter
Answer:	It will but the sand has to be very dry which is hard in the winter I ended up taking mine off and just using a walk behind Chapan salt and ice melt spreaders with sure spread technology.

Answer:	Not sure about the motor, but, I would not purchase it. Too flimsy and the control broke the first use.
Question:	Does the material gate operate manually, or is there an electric switch to turn the feed on and off
Answer:	The spreader gate is manual on this Field Tuff spreader. There is a silver lever that you will use to open and close the gate.
Question:	Is there a spec plate on electric motor, in case I need to replace or get a stronger, heavier duty replacement
Answer:	Good luck with this company, first they did not send all the parts, then the thing is junk, motor will not spread even lime, much less salt.

Question:	Will this spreader work with the X-series of John Deere mowers? Just wondering how the spreader will line up with the hitch on my mower
Answer:	We have a John Deere 320 and it works great.
Question:	how does this spreader work with grass seeds? I saw only fertilizer mentioned. Need to reseed 2-3 acres
Answer:	I used in 15 acres with fertilizer and worked very good . Spayed in a width of around 15 ft. I suppose that it will work similar for seeds but I have not tried for that

Answer:	I have used this 4 or 5 times and didn't notice any damage or strain. I am assuming you are asking because the augar stick would be spinning backwards. The spreader works very well and is very stable because the tub sits lower then most others and is perpendicular with the axle not parralel over the wheels

Answer:	I am not sure what these guys are talking about, but I was completely satisfied with this spreader. It is sturdy and not cheaply made. If you assemble it correctly, you will not have a problem. Agri Fab is a US company and their mfg plant is in Ill. Dont believe the fake news!
