Answer: sorry Dianne, i am 100% sure, but i do not think so. the reason is that i threw this radio away when i got the coby with no digital and just the old style tuner (batteries last forever with this one), so i can't confirm. as i recall, i think i would have used the an outlet if there was one, but then again i was using it a portable radio where i would carry it around in different places all the time.
