7 best organic liquid fertilizers
Organic liquid fertilizers are natural plant nutrients that are dissolved in water and used to nourish plants, promote growth, and enhance soil health in gardening and agriculture. Here's some information about organic liquid fertilizers:
Natural Ingredients:
- Organic liquid fertilizers are made from natural and organic materials. They typically contain ingredients like compost, fish emulsion, seaweed, bone meal, blood meal, and other organic matter.
No Synthetic Chemicals:
- These fertilizers do not contain synthetic chemicals, such as synthetic pesticides or herbicides. They are in line with organic farming and gardening practices that avoid the use of artificial additives.
Nutrient Content:
- Organic liquid fertilizers provide essential nutrients to plants, including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). These nutrients are necessary for plant growth, flower development, and fruit production.
Microorganisms:
- Many organic liquid fertilizers contain beneficial microorganisms such as mycorrhizal fungi and beneficial bacteria. These microorganisms can improve soil structure and nutrient uptake by plants.
Quick Absorption:
- Liquid fertilizers are quickly absorbed by plant roots, making them a convenient choice for providing nutrients to plants when they need a rapid nutrient boost.
Foliar Feeding:
- Some liquid fertilizers can be sprayed directly onto plant leaves. This method, known as foliar feeding, allows plants to absorb nutrients through their leaves, which can be especially beneficial in certain situations.
Soil Health:
- Organic liquid fertilizers can improve soil health by promoting microbial activity and enhancing the organic matter content of the soil.Healthy soil leads to healthier, more robust plants.
Environmental Considerations:
- Organic liquid fertilizers are considered more environmentally friendly than synthetic fertilizers because they are less likely to leach into groundwater or cause pollution. They also support sustainable and regenerative farming practices.
Application Methods:
- Organic liquid fertilizers can be applied through various methods, including watering cans, hose-end sprayers, and drip irrigation systems. The method chosen often depends on the specific needs of the plants and garden size.
Certifications:
- Some organic liquid fertilizers are certified organic by regulatory bodies, providing assurance that they meet organic farming standards.
Compatibility:
- It's essential to check the compatibility of organic liquid fertilizers with the specific plants you are growing. Different plants may have varying nutrient requirements.
Storage:
- Organic liquid fertilizers should be stored according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Organic liquid fertilizers are a popular choice among gardeners who prioritize natural and sustainable gardening practices. They can be a valuable addition to gardening and farming efforts, helping to promote healthy plant growth while minimizing the use of synthetic chemicals in the environment.

Use Jobe’s Organics Vegetable & Tomato Water Soluble plant food mix fertilizer with Biozome on all your vegetables and tomatoes. The Jobe’s Biozome advantage for organic gardening: improves the long-term soil quality of your garden, increases root mass, promotes plant growth and helps your garden resist disease, insects, drought and other unfavorable conditions within a growing season. Delivers long-term benefits without chemicals. Jobe’s Biozome is a unique and proprietary blend of beneficial microorganisms Archaea, Mycorrhizal fungi and healthy bacteria. Archaea, a recently identified microorganism found in some of the planet’s most extreme environments, such as hydrothermal vents on the ocean floor. In garden applications, scientists have discovered that these microbes actually clean the soil, returning it to a healthier, more natural state. Jobe’s Biozome contains a proprietary species of Archaea that quickly breaks down complex hydrocarbons and minerals into basic nutrients and trace elements that plants readily absorb. Mycorrhizal fungi expands the surface-absorbing area of the roots by 100 to 1,000 times, sending out filaments that act as extensions of the plant’s root system, helping plants absorb more water and nutrients. In return, the fungi receive essential sugars and other compounds from the plant roots, fueling their own growth. Finally, the healthy bacterial strain in Biozome improves the soil structure and quality, keeping nutrients near the roots. Jobe’s Organics Vegetable & Tomato Water Soluble fertilizer is OMRI listed and may be used in certified organic food production according to the USDA National Organic Program. Jobe’s Organics Vegetable & Tomato Water Soluble fertilizer is also available in a fertilizer spike or as a granular fertilizer. Answer: | Hi there. Your bottle should have a Feed Chart section with instructions on use. For our CleanKelp, just add 5-10 ml per gallon of feed water for any and all plants, in every watering. Your plants should love it! James - Bloom City Crew |
Question: | Is this okay to use on my house plants as well when watering |
Answer: | Hi Rodney, We use more than 10 sea-plants in the formula, but we guarantee ascophyllum nodosum, ecklonia maxima, laminaria saccharina, palmaria palmata, chondrus crispus, ulva lactuca, and fucus vesiculosus. Our full formula is a trade secret as we have been developing it for many years. We hope you enjoy CleanKelp! Thanks for the question! James - Bloom City Crew |
Question: | How much should you use on seedlings |
Answer: | Hey there, thanks for the question! Yes, Bloom City Kelp is fully organic, naturally and sustainably harvested. Should be perfect for your organic gardening needs! James - Bloom City Crew |
Question: | my package is a solid goo instead of powder, how much water is needed to dissolve the entire package |
Answer: | This is a great question and one that would be good to clarify, CleanKelp has a couple of items that are actually not cold pressed - namely sprulina and chlorella, they are a micro algae and are integrated whole into the solution after having their outer cell walls cracked or ruptured. The rest of the ingredients, including other kelp species not listed, are either ground then pressed or pressed whole. The kelp meal specifically is hand harvested then ground into a meal that is then pressed after being ground. This grind is done to ensure a better micronutrient extraction. After all of the processing, we filter the kelp blend to ensure a uniform fertilizer. Thanks! |

AgroThrive Organic General Purpose Fertilizer (3-3-2 NPK)
AgroThrive General Purpose Fertilizer is formulated for everything that grows!
All AgroThrive products have gone through The Progressive Digestion Process, which breaks down nutritious raw materials into a form that plant roots can rapidly absorb.
Can be used in home gardens, farms, hydroponics, greenhouses, indoors, and outdoors.
Predigested Means Fast Acting
Traditional organic fertilizers are simply blends of organic materials. When applied to the soil, the plants rely on soil microbes to break down those nutrients to a simple form that the plants can eventually absorb.
This digestion process usually takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks to take place in the soil, which can make growing organically quite a challenge.
AgroThrive is the only organic fertilizer on the market that has already gone through this digestion process before going into the soil, which is why users can see results in less than a week!
Step 1: Measure Fertilizer
Measure out fertilizer to be used on plants.
4oz AgroThrive per gallon of water for mature plants.
2oz AgroThrive per gallon of water for starter plants.
Step 2: Dilute Fertilizer
Dilute the measured amount of fertilizer into a gallon of water.
Step 3: Apply Fertilizer
Apply fertilizer to the soil around the base of the plants for the results.
