I elected to not use the bag I have left because it would have been TOO MUCH on my lawn!. This is NOT one of those items where ,if a little bit does a little good... you know the rest! You must follow the directions when using this product!!! As you can see from the first number (nitrogen), all manner of bad stuff will happen to the grass if over applied. Conversely, it will do a fantastic job if properly applied. At least that has been my experience when using the product. Good Luck! JBH

Tips for Lawn Care Success

Question:	what type of potting soil should i use
Answer:	The 10 inch red model that I have DOES have a dimmer which manually adjusts display brightness to 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, or 10%. The 10% is dim enough for use in the bedroom. Additionally, it supposedly has an auto dimming setting, which does not appear to work on my unit. From what I read in product descriptions, the 14.5 inch and 18 inch models DO NOT appear to have adjustable brightness, perhaps explaining why all of the other answers to your question state no dimmer.

Answer:	It is not chelated nor bound with carbon atoms and is considered inorganic. It may be produced in a lab or extracted from sea water. It is considered natural. Potassium sulfate, also inorganic but natural, is a better choice for plants. Chloride in Muriate of Potash can build up in soil to undesirable levels over time.
Question:	Can I use this to make african black soap
Answer:	What an interesting and unexpected question. I don't know, but I can tell you that the particles are small - pea sized- and dissolve easily. I recall my grandmother making soap and it involved a lot of stirring and pouring. Good luck.

Answer:	Yes, this will promote more blooms. Because the middle number is highest, (3-9-4) this blend will encourage your peonies to bloom well. Make sure to supplement with Calcium (bone meal) because strong stems require calcium! Add according to directions. Mix into soil around the base and drip line of your peony bush, then water well. If you are planting peonies in the ground for the first time, ask your local nursery if you should protect the roots from gophers. It will still have an odor,, but not as strong ,,, otherwise you’re just watering your lawn with no idea where it stopped.

Answer:	I am not sure what you are referring to by "ten gallons". This is a dry supplement. I mix it in with my dry organic fertilizer that I blend and then scatter it around the ground in the garden. You can also use it entirely by itself without worry about burning or damage to the plants. Personally I love it.

Answer:	Any good quality potting soil should work. I’m not an expert in gardening but my bushes are growing beautifully. I use two tablespoons of fertilizer for each pot monthly. Lots of new growth. Hopefully some berries soon.
