Answer:	If you are using real butter, which is all I use, the butter keeps very well without turning rancid while on the table top or range. (Of course, if the range is still warm/hot near the dish it will melt quicker). Once we put a stick on the dish, it seldom if ever goes back in the fridge. There are two of us and we use it but not like a family of 3 or greater might. So, direct to your question, we have no problem with it at all. Also keeps bugs out of the butter!

This also keeps the birds from eating 20% of it. This is the 5th bag I have ordered as I have 1/3 acre of all weeds and dirt when I recently bought my house. It is an excellent blend and covers very well and spreads out and fills in. I have large areas that get 90% shade and it grows almost as fast as the seeds in full sun. Very happy with this seed. Answer:	No. The grass is similar to a winter rye grass that that does OK in the cooler winter months, but died in Texas as soon as it got hotter and dry. I would not recommend this grass for any southern hot and dry climate.
