Answer:	Others are wrong.I use this every two months.my scotts mini broadcast at 2.5 setting.my yard is thick and lush.I also have St Augustine grass.st Augustine likes water but not sitting in it for long periods.it also likes fertilizer.I found the starter applied in the spring and the southern after that the rest of the year works fantastic.Do not use bonus s fertilizer.neighbors have had terrible results with that.As Efraim said do not go by recommend settings.go by half recommend setting.I found 2.5 best on broadcast scotts spreader.also use a liquid weed killer for Augustine grass and only treat problem areas.the grass will grow in thick and choke out future weeds.also at least once a year use a fungicide.scotts disease ex works great.all my neighbors have brown spots i do not.remember here in houston we have very sandy soil so fertilizers dissipate into soil quickly.other areas may require less fertilizing intervals as soil retention may be better.

Question:	I have three large oaks with big diameters. One 65, 70, 75. I much of this do I need to spread around each tree
Answer:	First of all, make sure you measure the tree "circumference" at a height of 4.5 feet above the ground. Secondly, you list your measurements as diameters. If these are truly 65, 70 and 75 inch diameters, the circumferences these would equate to 204 inches, 220 inches and 236 inches respectively and your trees are large enough to be considered national, or at least regional treasures. If your tress are 65, 70 and 75 inches "around the tree" at 4.5 feet off the ground, which is the measurement needed to calculate the application rate, the amounts to spread around each tree, in "cups" (at the rate of 1/4 cup per inch of circumference) are: 16.25 cups for the 65 inch tree 17.50 cups for the 70 inch tree and 18.75 cups for the 75 inch tree. The granules are to spread around 2 feet out from the trunk of the tree. I imagine it will take at least a month from the first rain after application for protection to begin for your trees so this will need to be completed soon. I'm guessing that each 10 pounds of this material is packaged in a container that is around one gallon in volume so at 16 cups per gallon you will need at least three containers of granules to treat your trees. Expensive, but trees this size are becoming less common and are a valuable addition to your landscape and add greatly to the value of your home. If you are indeed reporting diameters, the application rates would be 54, 55 and 59 cups respectively for the calculated circumferences your trees.

Answer:	This particular product would not provide insect control but only control of label listed plant fungus. To control leaf miners you may apply our 3 in 1 Insect, Disease, & Mite Control spray to all of your ornamental plants, flowers, trees, & shrubs.

Answer:	Don't know for certain, but I'd doubt it would perform as well as the spray. I do know the spray works infinitely better than the 3-1 formulation made by Bayer which is to be applied to the roots. It contains the same tebuconazole antifungal, but in a lower concentration than in the spray, and I found it did not help against powdery mildew like the spray does.
Question:	is this product harmful to bees
Answer:	To the best of my knowledge, it does not harm bees. It does seem to help control leaf fungus, but does not i eliminate it. It needs to be applied about every three weeks depending upon the weather conditions.
Question:	Can this product safely treat powdery mildew on garden melon and cucumber leaves
Answer:	This product is for flowers and shrubs. It is not a product for edible plants. It works well on roses but I never use it on vegetables and fruits. Then I use Daconil. The instructions on the label of Bayer Advanced say not to use the product for plants that you are going to eat.
