Answer:	Don't know because I returned the product. It broke at the corners as I put it together.
Question:	can these be joined together
Answer:	They can be set side by side but I don’t think they can be joined together.
Question:	How do you fill each compartment with soil? Do you create a bottom for each top section
Answer:	You have to fill the whole thing with several bags of soil. The tiers don’t have bottoms . So the deepest section is the back. So fill from back to front. I think I used about 10 to 15 bags of soil designed to be used in raised beds.
