Answer:	Legs are not adjustable. Just look for a reasonably flat section of ground when you pitch your tent and you'll be fine. My husband and I slept on these in just sleeping bags and were fine. Haven't tried any foam mattress on top of it-- not necessary for comfort, they're good on their own, but a piece of foam would probably make the cots quieter to sleep on. Every time you shift around in your sleep the cot fabric kinda squeaks.

Answer:	Don't know but I return my purchase after it broke during a camping trip, first use. If you toss or turn while sleeping it will collapse and break! If the ground is not level it will collapse and break! Spend the extra money on some thing better.

Answer:	'tho you do slip on the shoe initially you then adjust the fit you want using the very sturdy laces. The lacing is well designed and easy to use to adjust the fit to your foot. These are very comfortable and solid boots and I suspect you'll come to think of them as your "go to" choice. I started with one pair of the dark brown and liked them so much that I bought a second pair in the same color as a backup. Then got a pair in the lite brown. They all have the same solid fit and feel. You won't regret the purchase.

Answer:	These are more water resistant than water proof ( like a rubber wader) . They become much less water resistant with time . A treatment with a thick rub on type snow proofing product when you get them new will really help . Repeat as needed .

Answer:	No, these boots are no longer waterproof. Since 2016 they do not contain goretex. Mine started to leak in slushy snow after 3 weeks of use. These boots have been cheapened but the cost for them went up.
Question:	Can you put black wax on them
Answer:	Yes, they are perfect boots for shoveling snow. If you are in deep snow, get some gaiters and you have an awesome set of snow boots. Be sure to care for your boots by using a silicone rub such as kiwi minkoil. By the way, in the last 6 years I have been through 4 pairs of these awesome boots. I use them for my job (package delivery) and use them for outdoor activities like 5-15 mile hikes. Get some SOLE Ultra insoles and these puppies will keep your feet painfree especially if you are on you feet for 10-15 hours/day. The only bad part is that the tread wears out pretty fast. But that is probably my fault because I cover so many miles (~300 miles/pair) on them on the concrete, asphalt and mountain trails. I'll stop there, I love these boots and hope they never change them!!

Answer:	It will take a lot of walking to find a jungle in the Himalayas as the Himalayas are a mountain range, though tigers are found in the Bhutan over 13,000 feet. Yes these boots will hold up - mine are over 12 years old and only now is the rubber starting to perish. Been through bushveld hiking in hot and humid South Africa and below -29 Celsius in the Alps!

Answer:	my son who is the person I bought them for says they can take some water but he is not sure about the boots in flooding situations, He has not had that experience . They are not advertised as water proof but so far (rain ) he has not had a problem. My son does have some back problems but has no problem with the comfort of the boot, he did put in a Dr Scholls gel foot pad. Thats about it

Answer:	I've been wearing Timberland Pro Pit Boss boots for about 8 years now and each pair has never let my feet get wet. They are waterproof and very durable. The pair I have now are at least 3 years old but, alas, the tread is wearing and must be replaced. Oh, and I work in a power plant.

Answer:	I ordered my first pair in 2017, 2nd in 2019 and I ordering my 3rd pair in a row right after this comment. They average almost 2 years to the month for me. But, I'm also a full time Mechanic at a shop. I work and walk around a lot of chemicals. Mostly Autozone Brake Clean, gasoline and oil. I also wear size 15 wide and I am happy with spending just under $100 every 2 years for these boots. They are very, very comfortable for not needing to be broken in like a lot of other boots. My sole/tread is starting to fall apart from the boot now. But, I also haven't been cleaning and greasing them at the end of every week like I was. I love these boots. If you're not around a lot of chemicals and you clean them and grease them like you're supposed to, I can easily see these boots lasting you 5+ years. I mean, I started flaking on the care and maintenance of them and they last me 2 years walking in harsh chemicals 40 hours a week. I also wear my boots out of work because they're more comfortable than my shoes.
