Answer:	I use them with thick durable plastic pots. The saucers themselves are robust so I believe they will be fine with a large ceramic pot for example. These saucers were frankly more durable than I expected

Answer:	Most 5 gallon buckets such as the home depot orange paint bucket, the lowes blue one, and the true value food safe ones are between 10.125 inches and 10.4 inches at the base. So yeah these will fit almost all 5 gallon buckets but im willing to bet there are 1 or 2 brands it wouldnt fit (i did look it up btw cause i had the same question, my peppers and tomatoes are in the true value foodsafe ones)

Answer:	Aloes and succulents need to dry out well between waterings. They would prefer to be in fast draining soil (grit, sand, and / or perlite added) in a terracotta pot just barely bigger than their rootball. i.e. very small! If you have a very large aloe plant, with a rootball that's actually the size of this pot, and it's outdoors in full sun, or in a hot west or south facing window, it could be ok in a plastic pot this big. Otherwise, not ideal.
