Answer: | Since no one really answered your question, it appears that this is RAW maca and not the cooked (gelatinized) version. Since gelatinized maca requires more processing than raw maca, there's always a cost difference as well with the gelatinized version costing more due to the extra work involved. Therefore, any time maca is the gelatinzed version you will see that mentioned usually on the front of the container since that's an actual selling point. Personally, I've not had a problem digesting this raw form of maca. I guess my body produces enough natural enzymes to handle the extra starch in this raw version. I take a minimum of 2 capsules 3 times daily, some times with food, some times alone with water. For people that have problems digestions starches the gelatinzed version might prove to be better since the gelatinization process removes most of the starch, allowing for easier digestion for those sensitive individuals. For me, this now brand raw maca has proven very effective and fantastic bang for the buck. |

Answer: | They grow well in central Texas. I plant them late March to early April which can be risky but I wrap the metal cages in plastic wrap and all I have to do is cover the top. When the chance of frost is over which for me is around mid April then I cut the wrap away. I have tomatoes earlier then my neighbors. Not real big but lots of them. Answer: | The hybrid is usually superior the the original plant. But downside of hybrid seeds you can not collect the seed from your and expect them to reproduce the same kind of plant. Heirloom seeds I feel are the best as they represent the original plant when reproducing new plants from seeds of the original plant. |

GREAT FLAVORS
In the mood for juicy burger? Beefsteak varieties make great additions to any home-made sandwiches; while cherry varieties like add a burst of juicy flavor to any “garden to table” salad. Our full varieties include: cherry, beefsteak, paste & slicing tomatoes!
Step 1
Expand coir pellets in Burpee’s Seed Starting Kit by slowly adding warm water. Even out the coir and make a ¼ inch hole in each cell.
Step 2
Place two tomato seeds in each cell and cover with soil, then cover the kit with greenhouse dome. Seedlings emerge in 10-21 days.
Step 3
As soon as they sprout, place seedlings in a sunny place indoors, or under plant lights. (16 hours of light, 8 hours without, 4" above the seedlings. Fertilize as needed.)
Step 4
After 6-8 weeks, when there is no more frost, move your seedlings outside. Keep sheltered for one week then plant in full sun.
