Question:	would it work well for powdered lime
Answer:	Just bought a Classic Drop Spreader for use with pulverized (powdered) lime. Worked great with a 40 lb. bag and a setting of 14. Took a few passes to use up the bag at the recommended application rate found on the bag of lime. Cross (perpendicular) application was recommended by the lime supplier. Tried to apply a bag of lime with a rotary spreader (Scotts 2000) and wound up with clogging due to the insufficient hole size even at a setting of 11. Recommend you use granular lime with the rotary spreader. Seems to work well for me with the Scotts 2000.

Answer:	I bought this 5 years ago and only use for salt in the winter, the metal frame finally gave out in the beginning of the 6th winter. Spreads salt fine as long as the wheels turn. Not great for built up ice pack on driveway. Works great for normal use at home.

Answer:	Hi, I am so I can't give you percentages of mix. The seeds are covered with a blue coating of fertilizer, which stays on for about 5 days even watering 3 times a day. This also keeps the birds from eating 20% of it. This is the 5th bag I have ordered as I have 1/3 acre of all weeds and dirt when I recently bought my house. It is an excellent blend and covers very well and spreads out and fills in. I have large areas that get 90% shade and it grows almost as fast as the seeds in full sun. Very happy with this seed. Can't tell you the blend, but it looks beautiful and no weeds at all. The grass comes up fast and full. I think You would be very happy with this product. Sincerely, Mark

Answer:	No. The grass is similar to a winter rye grass that that does OK in the cooler winter months, but died in Texas as soon as it got hotter and dry. I would not recommend this grass for any southern hot and dry climate.

Answer:	It shoots out about 10-11 feet on the shower setting. If you change settings it will go a little bit further.

Answer:	First of all the product (sprayer) is crap and if you get two uses out of it you will be lucky. Second remove the bottle and take off the plastic seal over the top of the bottle. reinstall hook up a hose slide the lever to unlock and you are using it. different types of spray patterns are marked on the rotary nozzle select what you want. It says the bottle will treat 500 sq. feet of plants and they recommend reapplication every 10-14 days. Don't expect long use of the unit though, its really poorly made and will fail fairly quickly true landfill fodder. Oh did I say enough that the sprayer is crap, I really hope so based on my personal experience. The Miracle Grow itself is pretty good though, just the sprayer is trash.

Answer:	FYI: By some trial and error I discovered that (kind of counterintuitively) the feeder leaks when the water pressure getting to the feeder is low. In other words, a bad hose connection at the faucet or intervening hose link or even a kink anywhere in the hose will cause the feeder to leak at the joint near where the hose is connected. If the feeder starts leaking at the joint, get rid of any kinks or bad connections and (assuming water pressure from the building is OK) that should correct the problem.

Answer:	You sure can. My money trees were only producing dollar bills. Then I began a regular feeding schedule and the trees grew 50's and 100 dollar bills. I am thrilled. One of my money trees even produced a few 1000 dollar bills. As you can imagine, I was pleased.

Answer:	That is a tough question as I do not have Fescue. However, I think that if you sprayed it in the evening as temps are going down and then give your lawn a good watering it should be okay. Or maybe pick an evening when rain is expected the next day. Just a thought.

Answer:	From what I can tell from the product description, the product weight is 26.4lbs. This is consistent with some other products at 2.5gals (320oz). Doing the math, 26.4lbs/320oz=0.0825lb of product per oz X 0.15%N that will come out to 0.012lb of N per oz of product. So about 20oz of product per gal of water to get down 1/4lb N to 1000sqft.

Answer:	I believe the label says to apply every 30 days or as needed. I found that I needed to apply it every 10-14 days or so. And of course after it rains you need to reapply. I found it works well but it got kind of expensive having to reapply so often.

Answer:	No it won't keep plants from growing. We use it to keep animals away from our bamboo. It works to keep them away.

Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action provides three benefits in one bag; it kills weeds, including dandelions and clover, prevents future weeds like crabgrass and other grassy weeds, all while feeding and strengthening your lawn. Prevents crabgrass for 4 months and feeds to build thick green lawns. Also prevents barnyard grass, fall panicum, foxtail, annual bluegrass, broadleaf weeds, corn speedwell, prostrate spurge, knotweed, purslane, chickweed, henbit and oxalis. Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action is for use on the following grasses, including Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass, Tall Fescue, Fine Fescue, Bermudagrass, Bahiagrass, Centipedegrass, and Zoyiagrass.

• Triple Action – Kills, Prevents and Feeds | Keep people and pets out of the area during application. Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated areas until dusts have settled
• Apply in spring when daytime temperatures are consistently between 60ᵒ F and 80ᵒ F and before the 3rd or 4th mowing | Do not apply to newly seeded or sodded areas until after the 4th mowing. Apply product when dandelions are actively growing
• You must wait at least 6-8 weeks between fertilizer applications | Covers up to 4,000 sq. ft.
• This product contains both a pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control | Would not be a control for spurge

Question:	how often does it need to be watered once grass is grown
Answer:	I watered it when the soil was dry to the touch. It doesn't need much water to keep the soil moist.
Question:	I put the 3 large pucks in the box and seeds on top is that a problem
Answer:	You should reconstitute 1 puck with water and then put it in the box. you can either bury the seeds under a 1/4 layer of the "dirt" or put the seeds on top and cover with a damp paper towel keeping it moist by misting it at least daily. You would have enough pucks for 3 seperate plantings. My cat loves it. I might do grass on one side and catnip on the other next time I plant it.
