Answer:	While the description says: 15" x 4 1/2" x 7 1/4", it's a bit misleading. The unit is 15" long and measures closer to 7 1/2" at the widest part. When it is handing by the two triangles shaped metal hangers, it measures 8" from the tip of the hanger to the bottom of the light.

Answer:	It depends what you are growing. PAR at 50 cm is around 200, PAR around 20 cm is around 1100. You'll probably want somewhere between 20 and 50 cm from plants.
Question:	Can it be set to run 24/7, without the timer function
Answer:	It has a fan blowing down on a heat sink the air coming out the side vents is about 95 degrees the bulbs are about 101 degrees slightly warm to the touch, Tested with my temp gun. The bulbs on my T5 fixture are 177 degrees and my 250 watt HPS bulb is 565 degrees so much cooler than those lights.

Answer:	That's a big question. If you are growing in a specific enclosed space such a a closet or tent, this light should handle orchids well in their vegetative state. However, if you're flowering them for bloom size, this may be a bit weaker than optimum. Having said that, this unit is so efficient, light-weight and safe to operate, one cannot go wrong with it in any home garden set-up. And it will give full-spectrum light to your plants. It covers about 2x2 pretty evenly. It will make flowers, Just not the largest due to its relatively low intensity. Hope this helps..

PPFD over a 2 x 2 ft Area

If growing over a 2 x 2 ft area, you need to view the Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD) levels over the entire area to calculate the average light level the light is providing. If you only had a center point measurement, you may assume a lighting fixture is compelling. Be aware of exaggerated PPFD from other brands.

Actual Power Draw from the Wall

The actual power draw from the wall is a system input, and growers care about the system output -- PPFD. Hence, the lighting system using 5W, 10W, or 15W LED wattage doesn't deliver more light to your plants.
