Answer:	Unfortunately, the blade (SB-1T) for the FG-11K cannot be swapped out for a Barracuda Tri-Cut saw blade (SB-16TE). The hole guides for the saw blade do not line up for secure fitting.

Answer:	This is a common problem with these pruners. The bulk of the time its due to debris or stickiness buildup on the blade and/or hook. Over time the spring will also get weak but can be easily replaced for a couple dollars. Despite the issue these are great pruners, the issue just goes with the territory.

Answer:	Yes, it does. I love it. The new saw blade is very very sharp. Pruner can cut/trim stem about 1 inch or thicker; very sharp too, with little force/effort.
