Answer:	I would say my battery's charge in 2 to 6 hours depending on how low you run them. a battery will make any where from 20 to 40 cuts depending on what your cutting how hard the wood.

Answer:	Not sure...will have to see how I can dampen mine to replicate this...however, while cutting way high in the tree on hard oak...mine would stop, I would pull it up, then start it and resume cutting, but after these sudden stops I changed batteries...mine tends to cut off when battery life is low...be sure you start with full charge. Otherwise I will have to google this problem for other ideas. I will clean and sharpen the unit with a battery so I can move the chain while spraying with DW40...or any bike chain lube....

Tips for Using Your DocaPole GoSaw and Extension Pole

1. Extend and use the lower pole segments first if full extension is not required. These segments are thicker and stronger and will provide the best sawing experience.
2. To minimize pole bend when not using at full extension, leave about 6” of overlap between pole segments by not extending them all the way.
3. Let the GoSaw's sharp teeth do the work. Focus on the saw's up and down motion and not on trying to press the saw into the wood.
4. Only screw the GoSaw onto the pole’s metal tip. Some poles come with a separate plastic hinge tip. This plastic tip is perfect for use with cleaning attachments but is not intended for tree pruning.
5. After screwing the GoSaw onto the pole, use a screwdriver to tighten the locking screw at the base of the GoSaw. This will further secure the GoSaw onto the end of the pole.
6. If any pole segments begin to slip, use a screwdriver to tighten the locking clasps on the pole. These can be adjusted as needed to increase or reduce tension.
7. Be safe. Tree pruning can be a dangerous activity. Always be sure to wear gloves and eye protection.

Over time the spring will also get weak but can be easily replaced for a couple dollars. Despite the issue these are great pruners, the issue just goes with the territory.

Question:	Is the saw compatible with the 80v trimmer
Answer:	Yes you have to make a complete loop. You can however make a double loop seperating the wires by about 4 feet, or secure the wires to a physical structure. You would run the twisted dog fence wire out to the area you are wanting to secure and just make a double loop around the one side, connecting one end of the loop wire to one end of each end of the twisted wire, but remember you must separate the wires by 4 feet or so to avoid canceling out the signal.
Question:	Will this work with a 60v battery
Answer:	Nothing is exposed to the weather. In my setup, the base unit is in the garage, drilled a small hole, ran the wires through the hole and into a plastic pipe that ran to the ground. Everything else is underground. I did leave some slack in the wire that was buried to account for freeze /thaw cycles. The snow depth here (Iowa) has not affected the signal. I run mine on the lowest setting so I could bump up the setting if I needed to.
Question:	Can the hedge trimmer attachment be purchased separately
Answer:	Crossing an asphalt driveway is relatively easy, use a circular saw with an asphalt blade available at any hardware store. Make a score about one quarter inch, clean out the dirty crack, and insert dog fencing wire inside the crack, You a tube of black top caulk and make a nice neat seal over top of the wire to hold it into place. Its always a good idea to cut the edges of the driveway deeper and use something like a dog fence staple to keep the wire tight so it doesn't pop up, this will make sealing the wire easier as well.
Question:	Is there a tiller/cultivator attachment for this model
Answer:	Yes, it did work for me. I got two small pet pygmy goats (Wethers), for the kids (pun intended). The goats have a large fenced in area, to keep out predators, however I sometimes like to let the goats out so that they can roam around our yard, and they never seem interested in wandering off. The only issue is that the goats would come on to our porches to poop and pee and eat also eat the potted flowers on our porches as well as the flowers planted around the house. it drove my wife crazy. so i put the wire around the house and play area, as a kind of reverse electric fence, to keep the animals outside of the invisible fence/circle instead of inside the invisible fence/circle as most people would use this product. I put the flags along the fence, and I also laid bright electric cords on top of the ground where the wire is so that the goats would have an additional visual queue on the location of the fence. When i ran out of electric cord I used bright orange "mark-it" spray paint to mark along the ground where the wire is located. I also followed the training instructions as closely as possible to get the goats used to the fence (maybe 10 minutes of total training per goat). From there the goats learned own their own pretty quickly. As I sit here to write this, I'm looking out my window at the goats happily grazing in the yard, outside of the invisible fence. The goats stay about 10' away from the fence and work their way around the house, without crossing over the fence towards the house. We've had no goats on our porch since we installed the fence. In my opinion its been a 100% success! This is my first time writing a product review...I hope it helps.

Answer:	I can't tell you for sure if it's compatible but I do have the dewalt drill the saw and the impact driver and the batteries are interchangeable

Answer:	Make first cut 6" (152 mm) from tree trunk on underside of limb. Use top of guide bar to make this cut. Cut 1/3 through diameter of limb. Then make the finish cut from the top. If you try to cut off thick branches from the bottom, the branch may close in and pinch the saw chain in the cut. If you try to cut off thick branches from the top, without a shallow undercut, the branch may splinter. Do not force pole saw. The motor will overload and can burn out.

Question:	What is the best way to store this saw when not in use
Answer:	I stored it vertically for the first season with the head on top. It leaked oil down the handle. I then put two bicycle hanging hooks on the ceiling of my garden shed and now hang it horizontally. Harder to get down, but it is never oily, and that's worth the trouble of getting something to stand on to reach it.
