Answer:	I was going to guess no more than 3 pounds and then decided to look at the details about the item when it was ordered in 2016. I am surprised to learn it weighs 17.9 ounces. It resides in my daughters trunk, so I can't tell you by weighing it. Amazon should be able to verify what I've told you. Don't expect to chop ice with it, but it will do nicely in fresh snow to get a car moving. It is nicely made. Hope this helps!
