Answer:	My knuckles measure 3-1/4" across and these gloves fit perfect for me. I have washed and dried them a couple of times and they did shrink a small amount but still fit good. Hope this helps.

Answer:	They are not waterproof. Also, the gloves are made out of a medium weight woven fabric; not like canvas...lighter weight. It has protected me from some scrapes and bumps. Thorns go through very easy. I like them for digging in the dirt and pulling weeds.

Answer:	They don't appear to be made of dyed leather. The top design is made of a durable breathable cloth. The last pair I had lasted about 5 years. When dirty, you can throw them in the washing machine and they come out like new....that's my experience anyway. I have small hands but I wear a large in these gloves, so I would say they run on the small side. Hope this helps.
