Answer:	eaton electronics sells several models -- you "may" have to do a little cobbling to get it to work also believe it or not Walmart sells a thermal switch 250v 15 a which is what I think you are looking for, again it might take some cobble to get it in but they are available -- lastly take a look at e bay you will very probably find several models there -- as a last thought - make sure you are plugging into a circuit that is able to handle the load to start with -- if it keeps kicking out over / over I would suspect you plugged into a outlet that could not handle it or you used a weak (undersized) extension cord, this is often a mistake many people make - if the thermal kicks out repeatedly and you continue to re-set it -- it will wear out at which point no amount of re-setting or correct wire size will help - replacement being the only option definition of crazy is to repeat the same thing over and over expecting a diff result (:>0 really I hope this helps a little dick holland

Answer:	This model has a two handed operation. Safety and power. Also you say "right away" do you mean it pauses? Or doesn't run at all?

Answer:	All parts run? If the pusher runs then it should split the wood. I did point out in my review that it is shipped upside down and thus the oil might leak out of the vent so I would per the manual method check the oil level. If oil level is correct then make sure vent is open to avoid blowing seals. Long shot idea is that a way too small extension cord may deprive unit of full voltage. Try splitting a 2x4 board to familiarize with operation.
Question:	One person stated that there are 2 screened windows (one on each side), but I don't see them in the pic. Is this true
Answer:	If you are pushing the button and pulling the lever, It is probably a bad splitter. Take it back.

I need it for succulents woukd they be protected from sunburn with direct sun while inside there

Answer:

No: only to move it around in a woods! My wife and I work together, she on the short pull piston and I on the long pull (hardest). I am 83 years old and had a reverse shoulder replacement in September 2016 and split more than a cord of stove wood in April. You do have to mount it firmly on 2 X 4's to keep it stable while operating on large logs at its limit. I am also mounting it on wheels so I can get it over rough terrain.

Question:	What is the thickness of the polycarbonate and what is the product warranty
Answer:	Hard to tell once it is assembled, no way to measure. My guess would be between 1/32" to 1/16". 100% satisfaction. There is a warranty, but you have to check with the manufacturer. Hope this helps. Very nice unit, and very simple to assemble, maybe 15-20 min's. I would purchase it again.

Answer:	I would consider putting windbreaks around the cold frame to prevent the wind from wicking away more heat from the box.

Question:	Where does silicone go? Intruction says need silicone
Answer:	This is basically a car jack on its side. You pull the handles and the jack goes higher. After you break a log, you retract the jack by releasing the valve. Then start all over on the next log. It is hydraulic, so eventually you will need to refill with hydraulic fluid, but not for a very long time, maybe never depending on use.
Question:	Does it have any sharp edges when finished and put together
Answer:	I have split 18 full cord so far this winter. Most of the wood was ash, and some was up to 20". Also if you happen to cut a block @ more than an 18" length, you can stand it on end and split it anyway. But be careful it does not spin to one side on you.

Answer:	You don't fill the Juwel cold frame with soil. You can fix/secure the cold frame to flat ground or make a frame that the cold frame will sit on. The frame can be buried or free standing on the ground. If above the ground you can fill the framed area with top soil. I raised one of my frames 6 inches and another 9 inches. It is best not to let the soil level inside or outside of the Juwel frame have soil against the lexan double wall sides as moisture will infiltrate the space between the walls.

Answer:	The only time I every had a problem with wind was when I didn’t put the clips on they give you . The clips snap into the top and snap to the bottom when the top is down and the notches on the clip secure it when it’s vented. My biggest complaint is putting it together with the metal corners they don’t always corporate. I prefer the smaller version of this that has heavy plastic corner pieces that snap into holes an secured with a clip

Answer:	I would use it confidently in an organic garden. The components appear to mostly aluminium, an assortment of stiff (high-density?) poly ethylene or poly-propylene clamps & corner pieces and the poly-carbonate window pane. Being an organic chemist by training, I have fewer concerns about the materials in the kit than in what already is in the soil or gets absorbed continuously through the environment. May, however, not conform to a rigid definition of materials suitable for organic gardening.
