Answer:	Yes. It works very well. I have many squirrels running around on the ground below the feeder, but none can get past the baffle. I also disagree with the person on the raccoon, I have had also had success keeping raccoons out of my feeders with the baffle.
Question:	Would this work for hay for a rabbit cage
Answer:	It's been a few months since I installed but if I correctly remember the baffle is adjustable by tightening three bolts on a collar that slides on the post, acting as a ledge to sit on. With a long bird feeder your issue would be worsened, as observated by most of the user comments, it needs another pole segment. or the manufacturer needs to adjust the length of the existing so you don't have as many joints, which are weak points. I'm guessing they did it for stability, definitely not cost. There's probably $15-20 of material and labor if it was made in the US

After a few months of using this feeder I opted to just make a feeder myself from all the diy pvc feeder ideas online and we like it a ton better. Theres a lot less wasted feed flung all over the ground by nitpicking chickens.

Answer:	This is too big for baby chicks. I also later found it is too unstable for multiple older birds....they kept turning it over.

Answer:	We always have issues with mice getting into our chickens' food, no matter what feeder we use. But this feeder is particularly bad, to be honest. The thing always tips over and spills, the grate on top doesn't lock down and flips open all the time. I don't recommend this design. The solid plastic type with holes works better. And as soon as your birds are old enough for a hanging feeder, get one. Keeping it up off the ground helps a lot with rodents.
