Answer:	I had my day old chicks with this in an enclosed type brooder box, with ventilation at the top and sides, in about 45 degree spring weather. They did fine. Not sure if warm enough for snow and colder temperatures though.

Answer:	This Vrooder is not made to use for warming mature laying hens. It is to be used as a brooder for newly hatched chicks until they don't need heat any more or until there too tall to fit comfortable under the brooder plate. There are coop heaters & heat lamps made to warm your hens fannies.

Question:	Can you guys tell me if you still like the suit, and have you been stung? Would you still buy it again
Answer:	It’s an issue on mine. I have the largest size they sell. My husband has the medium and the brim is bigger. Since he doesn’t tend to the bees I just swapped them out. I wish it was a bigger. I like the overall suit a lot but if you’re in an area that has ticks you have to wear tick protection too.
Question:	what size should i order? 5'6 and 130 lbs
Answer:	Beekeeping suits have non-washable veils plus zippers, elastic, and velcro that can get snagged on the agitators in washing machines. Therefore we generally advise customers not to machine wash their beekeeping suits and instead spot clean by hand.If you would like to machine wash your suit, then we recommend you remove the veil, close the zippers, fasten the velcros, turn the suit inside out, and place the suit in a garment washing bag. Then wash your suit, in the garment bag, on the gentlest cycle and hang it to dry.

Answer:	As with any bee suit the answer is yes. However I have found this to be remarkably resilient to stings. I have only been stung once, through the back of the veil where it touched my neck. That was my fault not the suit.

Question:	Will the veil work for bees without the jacket, or is the bottom of just the veil too loose
Answer:	Although we know of many customers who have used Humble Bee products while working with Yellow Jackets, Hornets and Wasps we do not recommend this. All Beekeeping apparel is designed to prevent the penetration of a 1-3 millimeter stinger while other insects may have much more powerful stingers. If you are going to use Humble Bee Suits for this purpose anyway make sure to wear multiple layers of clothing underneath.
Question:	Will the XL fit someone 6'5, 300lbs
Answer:	I would assume you could. It protects from Africanized bees which are small.

Answer:	I don't think the manufacturer makes a suit small enough to fit Carpenter Bees. However, if you were to wear it, I think it would be fine. If you needed protection from them.

Answer:	This hood/ with jacket stays in place. Mostly I'm looking straight ahead, but thinking about peripheral vision, I didn't notice it was an issue. The hood is stiff, so it doesn't fall fwd or stick to your face if you bend down. Hope that helps?

Answer:	You know that is a difficult question to answer because this jacket is both for men and women. I would say it is a true large men's? I bought the large and I'm a women, 165 lbs, 5'8 tall, size 14....I'm kinda medium-large and the size large fits me the way I want it too..Not tight, I have room, but not loose and the wrists and hem are elasticized. Hope that helps...if I were to get one for my husband, who has a belly, wide shoulders, size 44 pant I would get him an XL.

Answer:	Beekeeping suits have non-washable veils plus zippers, elastic, and velcro that can get snagged on the agitators in washing machines. Therefore we generally advise customers not to machine wash their beekeeping suits and instead spot clean by hand.If you would like to machine wash your suit, then we recommend you remove the veil, close the zippers, fasten the velcros, turn the suit inside out, and place the suit in a garment washing bag. Then wash your suit, in the garment bag, on the gentlest cycle and hang it to dry.

Answer:	I'm 6'3" 185lbs and the XL fits me well.
Question:	has anyone gotten stung while using this suti
Answer:	Yes! I have been stung! My hive was knocked over by a tree in a bad storm. My bees were ok while I cleared the area with a chain saw, but when I tried to set the boxes upright, they decided to attack! I ended up with 15 stings on my arms and legs. I picked out 157 stingers out of the suit, so maybe 15 wasn't so bad. What was worse was finding 2 bees inside the veil. Closer inspection showed a dozen small tears in the mesh material hidden in the folds.

Question:	Would this fit an adult man with a very large head
Answer:	I'm not certain about exact height ranges, but I can tell you that the one I bought has a fairly tight waistband, and I mean that in a good way. I'm only 5'6" so if I pull it down straight, it goes well beyond my behind. I simply pull it up a bit so I have a bee-proof seal around my hips. It looks to me to have plenty of length for someone quite a bit taller.
Question:	Can a bee get in at the neck in the back
Answer:	It might be tight. Sleeves are plenty long and there's elastic around the bottom edge. I'm 5' 5", 180 lbs and it covers my butt. Hat is a little big on me.
Question:	Does this fit all hats and are you satisfied with this unit
Answer:	Hey Robert - The veil is shipped to you already attached with a zipper, but it can come completely off for cleaning. It's best to handwash the veil, but the jacket can be washed in a machine. Hopefully, that helps and thanks again. -Adam
Question:	What is the loop at the bottom back for
Answer:	It's hard to say the size listed aren't always correct. I know it's a pain in the butt to return one. I would start with a XX Large. I weight 245 and mine was to small.
