Answer:	They have a really nice thick coat of wax, so they don't need to be painted. If you wanted to you would have to scrape the wax off, to help the paint adhere, which may damage the product. Best to leave it unpainted.

Answer:	If you are referring to the hive where the honey is collected by opening a spigot to drain into a mason jar, then the answer is No. This is a traditionally designed hive where you need to remove the frames and collect the honey through a centrifuge.

Answer:	10 frames and by the way no frames come in this package. You gotta buy them seperately and they arent cheap.
Question:	Should i screw or nail the sides together? should i paint the outside? inside
Answer:	Nail it together. I use my 16 gauge finish nailer with 1 1/2" nails but I also use wood glue to make it even stronger. You can paint the outside or stain and urethane it but do not put anything in the inside, the bees don't like foreign material inside their hive.

Answer:	Each frame will get 4 small nails. 2 on top, 2 on the bottom.. in alignment with the sides of the frame. I'd suggest using wood glue as well for extra support and durability.

Question:	Where are they made
Answer:	I was disappointed. It comes from China
Question:	Is it possible to receive a direct quote to buy in bulk for you
Answer:	Bulk is great if it saves money and time
Question:	does this come with everything you need, minus the bees
Answer:	It comes with a complete hive. You would need protective gear, tools (smoker, hive tool, etc), pest management stuff, a feeder and feed in addition to the bees.
Question:	Assembly instructions. Box didn’t come with assembly instructions. Where can I get a copy
Answer:	The dovetail will all interlock so take 2 sides and a front (or back), making sure handles are all with curved side down, push the interlocking pieces together with one side and end piece, then the other. Repeat the same with the opposing end piece and then use nails to secure every other peg or so, to keep together. Then, for frames, take long widest piece, fit the shorter side pieces over each end, fit a screen panel in the groove and then take slender long piece and clamp down on opposite end of side pieces until you create each framed screen. Nail with smaller nails on ends to keep secured. Once box is together and frames are ready you can see the track you drop the wider piece of frame into, much like a hanging file folder, and you're good to go.

Question:	What type of wood is this constructed from
Answer:	I believe this is pine wood I'm enssamble with glue -staples outdoor paint and look perfect . I'm make in my house the boxes I'm used pine look the same.
Question:	I'm new to beekeeping--does this hive need a lid or anything else to get started? Aside from bees, of course
Answer:	This is just a brood box. You will need a bottom board and a lid which should get you started. You might want to order two boxes because you will probably have to add room at the inn before winter.
Question:	Are the frames and foundation included
Answer:	Yes they are included but the foundation doesn't seem to have wax on it. My bees never touched them and I had to replace with frames from Dadant. Would not recommend
Question:	Does it come with covers and bottom board
Answer:	It comes with a top cover and no bottom board. I recommend a different bottom board if you go with the same company. It that has an opening in the back that have to be covered.
