| Answer: | Yes. I needed to keep a 600 lb. bear out of my fruit orchards and vineyards. I used 2 strands of aluminum wire, one hot, one ground. Marked the hot wire between each post with a small piece of red caution tape tied on as inducement to "nose it". Bears are curious. Worked great, and worked immediately. Before, I had massive destruction of both trees and fences every summer and fall, after installation, no disturbance at all. Used one 6' ground rod, with insulators holding the wire out from a T-post and 6' turkey wire fence with top rail so deer won't jump it. Effective for deer, bear, any animal because once they touch the wire, they learn real quick to leave it alone. The steel turkey wire plus steel T-posts also act as additional ground. If they put a paw on the fence, and touch the hot, zap! |

| Answer: | Yes the battery is part of the self contained unit. All you have to do is let it sit in the sun for a day or two till the full charge blinking light comes on. While it's charging you can pound your grounding rod into the ground, string your wire & mount the unit. When fully charged just hook up the ground wire & the two ends of the fence wire & your good to go. More detailed instructions come with it. I used this last summer around my garden & it worked great for the deer, ground hogs & rabbits that were ravaging it before I put it up. |

| Answer: | I believe six levels are advertised. I have an HCE845B, so, not the same heater, but this is the closest on Amazon and I read these answers looking for the answer. Then I emailed Honeywell support to see if it was known, but they said they do not measure it at the lower levels for this model. Next I bought an inline power meter and connected the heater to it. My findings do not necessarily reflect the wattage of heat output, only the power draw measured over a few moments after each level seemed to settle. My findings were, Room, HI: 1275-1325 watts Room, LO: 725 watts Personal HI: 1010-1030 watts Personal LO: 430-450 watts Floor: 280-300 watts Quiet: 300-340 watts I did not take the measurements over a significant period of time, no more than a few minutes at each level. I do not assert accuracy to this answer. I measured it because there could be an inverter involved and it has a maximum continuous power rating I ought bear in mind. |

Premier yellow electric goat net is highly visible to animals and people. 42 inch tall x 164 foot long roll will control goats, sheep and other small livestock and repels coyotes, foxes, dogs and bears when properly energized. Not designed for use with poultry. Features 9 horizontal strands spaced from bottom to top 6 in., 4 in., 4 in., 4 in., 4 in., 4 in., 8 in., 8 in. Vertical strings are spaced 6 inches apart. Top 8 horizontal strands have stainless steel conductor woven into polyethylene strands. Molded plastic non-slip beads connect horizontal and vertical strands. 15mm (.60") diameter PVC posts are pre-fitted into the netting at 13.5 foot intervals. Pre-fitted PVC posts have 6 inch steel spike at bottom to insert into soil. Multiple rolls of netting may easily be connected together. Strongly recommend using non-conductive support posts at corners and ends, such as Premier 42" FiberTuff posts (Item 208054) also listed on Amazon. Acceptable levels of electric conductivity on the fence can be difficult when low soil moisture conditions are present. If dry soil conditions occur frequently, a Pos/Neg (P/N) version of netting fence is strongly advised. FENCE MUST BE PROPERLY ENERGIZED TO BE EFFECTIVE. Energizer is not included. | Answer: | It may, as electric net is meant to be a psychological/pain barrier rather than a physical barrier. The key will be to make sure the fence is properly energized and then train the dogs to the fence by baiting it so they will touch it and receive a few experiences. This can be done placing some type of food on or next to the fence, such as peanut butter, honey, etc., so they will touch it and receive a shock. Once they have received a few shocks, they usually are much less likely to wish to challenge it. After erecting and charging the fence, you will need to test your fence with a fence tester to verify that it has adequate charge. You want it to test at a minimum of 3,000 volts at the point on the fence that is furthest from the fence energizer. We do also have 48" PoultryNet and Chicken Net, if you wish to try a taller net. |
