Answer:	The zip ties will only secure at the individual points. Use the zip ties to hold the chicken wire in place then use the green wire to wrap around the ends to secure completely. Answer:	Lots of solutions for that! Which you'd need with any coop or run. I'm laying down a 2 foot perimeter of chicken wire on the ground around the coop, using landscape staples to keep the edges down. Then I'm putting concrete blocks (well, pavers really) right up against the coop to hold the wire down there.

I.think they would fly up to the trees, then realize they were out.
