Answer:	Do not apply pressure and bring the auger up to speed before allowing it to dig in. Continue pulsing the throttle to keep rpms up and allow the spring loaded portion break through harder parts. I would also spear the lead point in to keep it from walking.

Answer:	I bought this as a gift. The person I bought it for says it does have a an automatic cable feed and reverse.

Answer:	Hooty_Hoo, The instructions say not to use pre-mixed fuels from service stations. However it says use synthetic 2 cycle oil and 90 octane. 87 octane worked fine in mine. Stihl sells sealed pre-measured containers of 2 cycle oil. I buy mine by the 6 pack. I use a ratio rite due to the mixture calling for 30-1. My other equipment uses 50-1. No matter what your equipment is, do what it says and your equipment will last for many years. If you don't have a ratio rite measuring container, buy one. They come in handy for other uses too. The money that you invest now preparing for the use of your equipment will save you from future grief. 6 pack of oil (more than needed)-$10.00. Fuel container-$8.00. 1 gal of gas-$2.30. Ratio Rite-$$Doesn't matter, you need one. Keep your gas fresh and mixed. You have a nice machine so protect it. All of my equipment runs as it should because I don't take chances. You'll be money ahead in the long run. Mix your own fuel. Know what you have. Hope this helps.

Question:

How do you turn it on ? Cannot find off/on switch

Answer:

The on switch is the trigger on the drill. Depress the drill trigger lock it into place with the button next to the trigger and then use the air pressure switch using your knee as you work the snake. Unfortunately the drill will be in high speed which is no t so desirable. If you use a copper wire around the trigger switch and the back side of the handle to depress the trigger switch half way you could reduce the speed of the drill to about half speed which I believe would be more desirable.

Question:	How much do a battery cost
Answer:	After six months of searching, I gave up on the battery and the battery gave up on me. Ridged Has a hand auger that you can attach a drill to. That's what I have switched too. It's a lot easier to get replacement parts for the Ridged also.
Question:	Does it tangle easily
Answer:	The cable is only 1/4". It hasn't tangled on me when keeping it close to the drain opening. The recommended distance and alignment is given in the manual.
Question:	Where I can find the cable replacement
Answer:	i asked the same question and never got a response. my cable broke the first time i used it, was not happy and got zero response for where i bought it. it now sits next to my work area as a reminder not to buy from amazon or that company. maybe you'll have better luck. good luck, jc bergstrom from minnesota.

Answer:	Good Morning Milton, if the rocks and debris you mentioned are small, it should be fine, however, whether you have debris or not, when using this machine, don't go deeper than five to six inches at a time, you need constantly pull out then back in, if you don'e it will get stuck in the dirt, specially if you are dealing with clay dirt. also your biggest concern should be small tree leafy roots, if you have them, then be careful, they will twist on the drill and might hurt your hands. other than that it should be fine.
