Answer:	On my tent the center pole has a rubber on each end so i put it in contact with the floor. I couldn't tell you how much the 10' tent weights. I have the 16.5' and poles, floor & tent weight 77 lbs all together.

Answer:	I use a small/medium wood-burning stove by Winnerwell (Nomad model). Even though It is a rather small stove, it makes it very warm inside. I often have to open the doors and windows to let excess heat out. Make sure to have a welding blanket under the stove, and even behind the stove to protect your floor and the canvas wall. A large stove would be miserable!
