Answer:	No, actually it is not comfortable at all. I do a lot of writing drawing and diagramming and my writing fingers started getting a burn. Also I hold pencils closer to the bottom and its almost impossible to do with this pencil. The heaviness of it is great, but its cumbersome for me to use without a rubber cover or something
Question:	Some people say that since the tip is retractable it can become wobbly while writing. Anybody else have this problem
Answer:	Wobbly may be a bit of an exaggeration but there can be a bit of movement in the tip. I have a two Graph Gear 1000's, one tip has no movement and the other has maybe a 1/2 mm movement. The movement is imperceptible while writing though, at least for me.
Question:	I don't see the eraser.,.. How easy is it to expose it? Can you leave the eraser exposed? I typically always do that
Answer:	The eraser is located under the silver cap at the top. Being a drafting pencil, the eraser is very small (~4mm) and is designed for fixing small mistakes without erasing anything else. Question:	where does one find the instructions for this mechanical pencil
Answer:	You must be careful to not mistake the little 'pusher' piece, which is white and tiny, in the lead sleeve for lead. The pusher piece will stick out a short distance when there is NO lead in the pencil, but DO NOT get rid of this, or the pencil won't work. I watched a YOUTUBE video on how to load the lead and I figured it out, I just looked for Pentel Graphgear 1000 load lead, or something similar. One would think, though this isn't complicated, the mfr would put some sort of information or instructions with it, sometimes one can be just too clever for one's own good. Or, perhaps Pentel thinks we are all intuitive and of genius level - that is dangerous thinking. On the positive side, the pencil feels pretty good in the hand; I bought the set of 4 , one set for my wife and one set for myself.

Question:	Does this come with a tube of extra lead
Answer:	I think it probably comes with extra lead, but I could be wrong. My supply drawer has some tubes of Pentel 0.9 mm HB lead that maybe came with the SumoGrip pencil. Any office supply place has that lead. The key point is that the SumoGrip pencil is great and you should not pass up the pencil because of spare lead. A couple of years ago, I sat next to a newspaper reporter during a presentation. He was taking lots of notes on the speech. Periodically he would put his #2 yellow pencil down and try to get the cramps out of his hand. At one point, I reached over and took away his yellow pencil and replaced it with a SumoGrip. He tried it and used it for the rest of the speech. Afterward he wanted to know where to get the SumoGrip pencil. I gave him that one as a starter gift and told him how to order them. I am sure he did not care if it came with a tube of lead or not, he only cared that it did NOT come with cramps in his hand.
Question:	What type of replacement lead do you use with this pencil? Is the pencil worth the price to use for sketching
Answer:	The replacement lead is 0.9 mm diameter lead. I recommend Pentel SUPER HB. HB is the medium lead, the B series are softer and the H series are harder. An H9 is extremely hard lead and barely leaves a mark on the paper; a B9 is vera soft and will leave a line that will smear on certain papers. The HB is the equivalent of the #2 grade of pencil, like the #2 yellow pencil that so many forms and tests call for. These are the pencils that artists have used for years. The .9 is about as small a diameter as they commonly use. All of this came about when England declared war on Napoleon Bonaparte. A war with England? Napoleon was instantly in trouble. England was the only supplier of pencils, coming from their Borrowdale graphite mines. You CANNOT fight a war without pencils. There was an artist who was a hot air balloonist as a hobby. He was trying to get Napoleon to use hot air balloons for battlefield observation. So Napoleon asked him to try to find some way to make pencils. The artist got graphite from Germany. It was lousy stuff and very hard. So he ground it up and mixed it with clay. He then fired it as if it were pottery. If he used LOTS of clay he got hard leads if he used only a little clay,he got soft leads.That launched us into hard and soft leads. To me, the Sakura (Japnese for cherry blossom) Sumo pencil has the great advantage in the grip. I sat next to a newspaper reporter. He would write notes for a while and put his pencil down and try to work the cramps out of his hand. I handed him a Sumogrip and his cramps were over. If you use a pencil for long stretches doing art work, you also may get cramps. The Sumogrip should help. I hope that moves you in enjoying your Sumogrip.

Answer:	That depends. Are you likely to take them with you while you ski or snowboard? I've found these pencils incredibly difficult to get out of the tin while wearing ski gloves.

Answer:	The tablet will still sense your hand with the glove on. Most drawing tablets will ignore your hand while using the pen. This glove just helps you to not make the screen dirty while you draw. I use it on a Microsoft surface and it helps a lot when drawing/designing

Question:	Do you have a link for the platinum pro use 171 eraser refills... i can't seem to find them
Answer:	I enjoy using the pencils. I use them along with watercolor. Either dip the tip in water or apply to wet paper. Highlights and depth can be added. Have fun using them.
Question:	what eraser refill works with this... there is no mention regarding replacements...help
Answer:	My then-3rd grader used these successfully last year. He's hard on his pencils! I bought a special (good!) sharpener but would still rather use these, plus they're great to carry in a purse/tote since the lead retracts. Great if one kid does HW while the other plays sports, visits doctors, etc. As someone else wrote, skip the .5 mm lead and get .7 or .9
Question:	Is it made in China
Answer:	Yes! Just gently remove the eraser and put refil lead in the chamber. Hold the eraser end of the pen and gently replace the eraser!
Question:	Does it come with any lead head
Answer:	The erasers suck. They really, really suck. All they do is smudge. This is very disappointing because the pencils are great.
