| Answer: | You must be careful to not mistake the little 'pusher' piece, which is white and tiny, in the lead sleeve for lead. The pusher piece will stick out a short distance when there is NO lead in the pencil, but DO NOT get rid of this, or the pencil won't work. I watched a YOUTUBE video on how to load the lead and I figured it out, I just looked for Pentel Graphgear 1000 load lead, or something similar. One would think, though this isn't complicated, the mfr would put some sort of information or instructions with it, sometimes one can be just too clever for one's own good. Or, perhaps Pentel thinks we are all intuitive and of genius level - that is dangerous thinking. On the positive side, the pencil feels pretty good in the hand; I bought the set of 4 , one set for my wife and one set for myself. |
