Answer:	I don’t know. I use this only on laminated card stock, but I would think that it might damage a wood finish. Perhaps try a sample and wait a while before trying to remove it to see the effect. The adhesive is very strong.

Magnets attract to many, but not all, metals (file cabinets, lockers, magnetic-receptive refrigerators, magnetic whiteboards, steel door frames, and more). The more iron in the material of the main surface to which you are attracting a magnet, the stronger the hold. Note: some refrigerators and many whiteboards are NOT magnetic.

Do not place paper between the magnetic side of the tape and your main surface. This will result in a very weak magnetic hold. Adhere the STICKY side of the tape to your photo/paper.

DIRECTIONS FOR NON-MAGNETIC RECEPTIVE SURFACES

Tip: position both pieces of tape in the SAME DIRECTION (horizontal to horizontal…or vertical to vertical).

First, adhere the sticky side of a piece of tape to the non-magnetic main surface (plastic, cabinet door, non-magnetic fridge, etc.) Then, adhere (using the sticky side) another piece of tape to your photo/paper. Answer:	The glue should be strong enough, but if it gets wet all the time I’m not sure how long it would last. I saw some magnets which are made for shower curtains, maybe they would be a better solution.

Answer:	I wouldn't trust it...I know the type of plastic you mean. Unless it's real tight, flat pebbles I would guess this would fall off soon. It does do well on flat surfaces however.

Answer:	It should be workable, we tried to glue it to some fabric and it sticks well. However, there are so many kind of fabrics that it's difficult to say if yours in particular will be ok or not, you would have to try by yourself. Also we are not sure how does it hold after sometime, as we don't know how it would be in 1 to 3 months time.

Answer:	No, I'm sorry it will not. Try Dowling Magnets Adhesive Magnet Dots or Adhesive Magnet Strip for that purpose. You will see if you read through the reviews of the dots that several people are using the dots successfully for eyeshadow pots, although the strip may be even better for larger pans.

Answer:	I haven’t yet tried this product so I don’t know if it’s strong enough. However, if what you mean is folding over the sheet to create a casing like you would use for a drapery rod or elastic, then in principal it should work - and great idea! But someone else will have to tell you if the magnets are strong enough to support the weight of the fabric. From the description it sounds like it should work.

Adhesive

Make sure to test if the surface on which you plan sticking the adhesive side of the magnets is adhesive friendly. This can be done by applying any type of sticker and seeing if it sticks well. Examples of surfaces that are not adhesive friendly: clothing, wool, beads.

Magnetic surface

Make sure to test if the surface on which you plan sticking the magnetic side of the magnets is magnetically receptive. This can be done by testing it out with any type of magnet. If that magnets sticks well to the surface it's magnetically receptive. Materials which are made up of aluminum or copper (and not iron) are not magnetically receptive for example.

Weight

Our rubber magnets are designed to hold light objects such as but not limited to postcards, business cards and small artwork in a cost-effective way. Anything flat weighing 10 grams per attached magnet should not be a problem. Answer:	I was surprised how week the magnetic action is on this thing to a plain metal. I think if it was paired with a metallic strip, it would be stronger on the side of the strip ( like how they use it in knife holding strips ). But by it self, it is not very strong, may be strong enough to just hang on the white board. The grooves on the one i got are not big. I don't think they would look bad because of the groves.
Question:	Want to use mosquito netting over the windows of my Silverado 1500 so I can sit out at my pond at night and listen to the frogs. Would it work
Answer:	I used this with mosquito netting. My answer is yes, if it's not at all windy. If there's even a little wind, the magnetic force is not strong enough to withstand it.

Answer:	It does stick to itself but the magnetic attraction is a little too weak to go through a couple layers of fabric. It would probably work if you glued it into place on the outside of the seams or hems.

Answer:	I am not sure. I used all my tape to put on the back of construction paper 4 X 6 invitations that stick to refrigerators and metal doors. They are not very strong, but they served my purpose.

Answer:	Maybe. The tape is extremely thin and not very magnetic. I think it has very limited utility. The other downside is that it would require your doorframe to be ferrous as well. Another issue is the width of the tape--will this cover from the door, across the gap, and onto the frame?If you are interested in an application like that, I would look at some of the other manufacturers. There are better versions of this tape which are actually magnetically strong enough to do the job and tough enough to handle being removed and replaced. I don't think this tape will do the job you want it to do.
Question:	How thick are they
Answer:	So as others have noted this magnetic strip is not strong enough to hold glass onto a metal (non-aluminum) frame. Without more details I am going to guess that the weather-stripping (sometimes rubber but usually felt) strips has deteriorated. That's why the glass is rattling when the door is open or closed. You may be able to find a You-Tube video that shows what's involved in replacing the weather-stripping. Good Luck!
