Then put the staples in and push the part you took off back in all way until it stops, push down slightly till it locks on. Hard to describe without a picture. |

| Answer: | Does the handle move at all when you push it? Mine moves easily until it meets the paper, but then you have to use a bit of force to move the handle all the way down to actually staple the pages together. |

| Answer: | The opening is slightly angled, but I just measured mine and you should easily get 2cm of material in there. The staples I have are only 3/4" (just shy of 2cm) so it will have to compress the stack slightly to bend the tips and hold. |
