Answer: I believe that the "drums" are connected to each toner cartridge. You routinely replace the toner, but not the drum. So I'm reading this as the drum (4 drums - one for each color) needs to be replaced every 15,000 prints. However I've had my printer for over a year and have never had to replace them.
