Answer:	Not hard backed like a hard cover book is. Probably not much thicker/stiffer than the back of standard spiral notebook.
Question:	how well does it handle fountain pens
Answer:	Hello. I figured an answer is better late than never :-). These books handle fountain pens well, but it's entirely dependent upon the Nib you use as well as the ink. Different ink has different viscosity and thus, some types of inks may have bleed through. I use Noodlers ink almost exclusively for the colored inks, and I have medium and fine nibs and they perform quite well (I'll be a noodlers guy until I can't write anymore). I Also have Calligraphy nibs, and I noticed that those are heavy on the ink, so they *almost* bleed through, but not bad enough that it would interfere with writing on both sides of the paper. I would avoid cheap inks... like Higgins... It's almost like water. **NOTE** These books do not do well with Dip pens, I'm guessing due to the lack of flow control and the fact that you're using gravity to move the ink along the spine of the nib onto the paper. I had excessive bleed through with mine, however, a piece of printer paper folded in half and laid behind the page that you're writing on would catch the bleed onto subsequent pages, but would do absolutely nothing to prevent the bleed through on the back of the page your writing in. Question:	How is this bound? Is it with glue
Answer:	Both, The sections are sewn in and then I see a waxy clear glue that is holding the sections together as a whole. When the book is opened all the way flat, the sections leave a space between them and the spline. It is good quality.
Question:	what is the actual tone of the paper? is it light grey? white? bright white like snow
Answer:	The paper is bright white like snow. On the scale of 1-100 I would say it is a 96. I compared it to my bright, white HP paper to reach that conclusion.
Question:	What size is the ruling
Answer:	It is standard rule, not college ruled like some individuals have commented. It says so in the picture, and is quite apparent if you pick one up.
Question:	Does the paper work well for fountain pens
Answer:	Writing on a notebook purchased in 2018 I can confirm that this paper is insanely good for fountain pens. Firehose flex nibs, juicy double broads, shading and sheen are easily on par with rhodia, possibly better. Feathering is nonexistant, dry times reasonable, and bleed/showthrough is practically zero. Stellar notebook for fountain pens. I only wish they made a version with a less stark white color paper (I prefer cream paper, this is super white) and I REALLY want graph paper. This notebook with ivory graph paper and numbered pages is literally my perfect ideal notebook. Some super slow drying inks in super wet pens can be smudge prone, like private reserve inks, but the flip side is that sheen comes out of any ink capable of sheening. I didn't even realize diamine blue flame had red sheen until I used it on this notebook in a zoom nib sailor.

Answer:	You receive 6 notebooks but not necessarily 6 different colors. I received mine today and there were 6 notebooks, 3 colors, 2 of each color. Was disappointed as I bought this pack thinking I would get 6 different colors.
