It is probably a half-inch thick, which allows you to store upwards of 20+ business cards, but might make it a tad bulky for some pockets depending on your preference. Although, no more so than any other good card holder.

Answer:	NO........that was what I bought them for and punched holes in them for my Sterling Silver Earrings and after my 3 day show all of my Sterling Silver Wires tarnished. These cards are NOT acid free. Must have acid free material or it can ruin your earrings. I then bought earring cards from Rio Grande in New Mexico. They are a supplier and their cards are acid free. Hope this helps.
