Question:	can you use a bag
Answer:	There is an interlock on the shredder that prevents it from operating unless it's sitting on the shredded paper receptacle - usually a switch in a slot on the head that is closed by a tab on the receptacle. If the bag doesn't interfere with that interlock, it should work. A very thin bag, or a bag cut out specifically to not interfere with the interlock, will likely work.
Question:	Is this a medium duty cycle for a small office
Answer:	It would be great for a small office. Just be careful not to put thicker sheets or folded sheets in too often or it will overheat the system and you have to wait 15 - 20 minutes for it to cool down. Stick to one or 2 sheets at a time. If you have a lot of paperwork, you may want to go up a size because the basket fills up pretty quickly. Overall, it is a good little machine.
Question:	What's the warranty on this shredder
Answer:	Great question... I checked the Instruction Manual to find that there is no mention of a warranty... It's a lazy Sunday afternoon (August 17th, 4:34 PM PDT) so I called Amazon Customer Service (1-800-216-1072)... The very nice lady who answered (Marya) tells me that while the warranty information does not appear anywhere on the Amazon website, there is a one-year warranty on ANY AmazonBasic product, including the 6-sheet cross-cut paper shredder (ASIN# B00HFJWKWK)... Good to know... We've had this unit a couple of months and love it... Only challenge is that we generate a whole heckuva lot more shreds than we imagined... Would be great if we could order a basket about three or four times as large...

Answer:	It does have auto, reverse, off, as well as an additional button for Jam Remover/CD Destroyer
Question:	Does this shredder feed straight down into it? So many feed at an angle and where we use one it needs to feed straight down
Answer:	If pulls the paper into it in the angle that if first grabs the paper. And since it's just a small bit wider than 8-1/2", this means that you need to be careful and start the paper in straight, or it will be pulled off to the side. Then if there are too many pages, it'll jamb. I found 3,4 will still be pulled through even if crooked, but 4 or more will usually need for you to bump the Reverse button and pull it out a few inches to re-position. Then it will finish up OK.

Answer:	no it won't and only cuts cd's in 3 pieces

Answer:	Yes, none of the pictures show it, but if you look at the right side, there's a handle that pulls out on rails, so that this can fit over larger containers. It expands from about the 11" (size of bucket included) out to about 15" wide. It just fits my standard 11 gallon kitchen trash can.

Answer:	Run time refers to how long a paper shredder will operate continually before overheating and needing a cool-down period.
Question:	I have owned 2 of these & both continued to run after I stopped shredding. this is the only problem that I have had . Why
Answer:	Sometimes we do buy a lemon, maybe two, so sujest that you call Amazon and sure they'll be glad to help resolve the problem. Number can reach is (1-866-) 216-1072, or ( 1-206-) 266-2992 for me been lucky had no problems, so if this will help good luck.
Question:	Does the shredder have automatic overload protection which shuts the machine off if it runs too long or if paper jams
Answer:	How do you reset the automatic overload protection once the machine stops running. Even the green light does not come on. I plugged directly into socket and have emptied the container.
Question:	is it electric
Answer:	You will need about 4 hamsters and 1/2 cup of seeds and (of course) a wheel. Just make sure to switch hamsters when it starts to slow or when feet turn from pink to rose-colored. No need for electricity!

Question:	why can't Plus Guard your ID roller be shipped to my address
Answer:	Yep. Tried it after I saw that review. 90% rubbing alcohol (most stores only sell 60-70%, oddly.) And it came right off. And for prescription labels too, as they claim it does in the video, it doesn't work at all. On a sticker? Sad.
Question:	If I ran out of ink, can I roll the stamp over a regular black ink pad and use it? Will it work
Answer:	Hi SWN - Unfortunately, the Advanced Roller is not a refillable product. With the special ink and manufaturing process necessary to allow this product to work on glossy paper, the refills would have ended up costing almost as much as the complete product. Because of this, the decision was made to not offer refills. That being said, this is the ONLY Guard Your ID product that is not refillable. If you are not using the product on glossy paper or labels (such as medicine bottles), I would recommend purchasing a regular roller that you can refill at a later date. Answer:	No. The 2nd answer was more correct in saying that the ink is a special formula. I tried the black ink pad method of refreshing it, and it does NOT work. Get the refills. Look for 2 and 3 packs.
