Answer:	If you scuffed it up, then primed it, you should be able to paint it.

Answer:	It has the standard hole spacing as all face plates. I have installed many of these with no issues in both existing wall boxes and retrofit boxes.

Answer:	Yes, but how would you run wires through concrete? You would have to run the wires on the outside, so what's the point of buying this for concrete? This is better suited for holes in drywall. I use it to cut holes behind televisions I hang on the wall. Then I cut a hole at the bottom of the drywall near an outlet. Then, I run the cables from the tv through the hole behind it, coming out at the hole on the bottom. I then use these wall plates so that I don't lose too much air conditioning through the holes in the wall. Also, this is much nicer looking than having two holes in the drywall.

Answer:	I suppose you could mount it directly to the wall if the hole is big enough, but it's much better to mount it to a junction box, which is what it is designed to do. You can retrofit an 'old work' blue box or orange box (either works for this) by cutting the hole to the appropriate size.

Answer:	I dont know I dont have the plate anymore. its obviously double gang but i think 6 inch could work with no problem. you can always file the plastic down to fit with a sander but I doubt you will need to do that.
