After comparing all the available varieties and size and length options, this continues to be the best deal per our criteria. We get this because it is NOT noisy while dispensing however, to have it not be loud means a lighter glue therefore( and it works for what we ship) the tape sticks best to itself. So we wrap our large cardboard shipper boxes all the way until we can join and overlap the tape from where we started it. Once the tape is stuck to itself it's ready to go and will not come off. Also a giant plus is it doesnt smell toxic! |

I, however, think 800 inches (= 22 yards) is for the smallest roll, like the flimsy plastic tape holder w/ 25 yds for $4 at Staples. The plastic tape holders and the heavy duty holders should accept 54-60 yard rolls though. |

| Answer: | I used a digital caliper and the tape thickness is 0.07mm which equates to 2.756mil. This tape is not 3.1mil as someone previously mentioned. The tape tale where it starts is thicker than the rest of the tape. This is to help getting the tape started. Therefore this tape is 2.756mil thick. |
