Answer:	Well that depends on your tastes and the rest of the room I guess. The map is made of thick almost plastic like material, so putting it behind glass is probably not necessary. A frame might not be a bad idea, everything looks fancier with a frame. I put mine up with no frame, but it's only in a bedroom.

Answer:	The sleeve is not required and the unit does clip in securely to the controller. If you have an existing sleeve it will not fit over the additional add on. If you do drop the controller,slips out of your hand etc then you don't have the protection if you do not have the sleeve

Answer:	It’s a thick sheet. I was really impressed by the quality.

Answer:	The sleeves are 4" long from the armpit. This is a little shorter than others I've had which are a couple of inches longer. One thing I did not care for on this one is that the tapes did not measure up with each other in the back the way they're supposed to, and had to be moved. I had no such issues with others of this type so maybe the manufacturer of this one is not quite as diligent.
