Answer:	The name Alsop appears on the pad in bottom left corner...

Answer:	I've never felt the need to clean it. The last one I had it for a few years, then I replaced it. It's make of fabric and plastic I don't think it is something to be put in a washing machine. Perhaps with a disinfecting wipe could be cleaned.

Answer:	I laid a ruler flat on top of wrist pad and then took another ruler and put it next to the ruler I laid flat and it is right at an inch.

Question:	does this pad work for laser/optic mouses
Answer:	October 19 2014, First I must state that this pad is beautiful in appearance. As far as the size is concern it is the standard size that most mouse pads come in(8.5" * 7.5" However it is thinner than the average pad. I purchased it for my son's laptop and it has held up for more than a year now and still looks nice and he is rough with everything. I truly hope this information helps some.

Answer:	Yes. It's just as pictured. Can't imagine why it would matter. It's just a mouse pad - a rather thin one at that, but it works as well as a thicker one.
