Question:	What is the height after the base is taken off? Can the base be easily taken off and attached
Answer:	There are multiple adjustments height wise and tilted that can be made and I was able to achieve approximately 4" as that is the lowest setting. It is difficult to raise it though as every touch causes it to increase the height and am leery of pinching a finger. Otherwise, this is a sturdy well-made device, though the pad is rather useless.
Question:	Take off my shoes and put my foot on this foot pillow in winter, will my feet get cold
Answer:	It’s adjustable it doesn’t “lock permanently”. Mine stays in the same position. Just slide it from the bottom if you need to move it.

Question:	Can the seller provide extra rubber to keep it from sliding? which appears to be the case on laminate floors
Answer:	I am more inclined to say no.It is really for use as a footrest. I do not know how you will control the up and down movement of this footrest.
Question:	does this run on batteries
Answer:	It does not slide that easily. It has rubber tabs on the bottom that provide a decent grip - just make sure they are kept clean and free from pet fur, for example. I find this to be very nice, well-made product compared to what I had previously.

Answer:	It doesn't seem to rock when I rest my fee on it. I use it under my desk.
