Answer:	I don't believe so. It is made of TPE. In technical terms, it is called Thermoplastic Elastomer, in short, TPE. So it is a completely man-made artificial material. It has been made with some purpose in mind to overcome the shortcomings of NRL (Natural Rubber Latex). Styrenic-based thermoplastic elastomer can be suitable alternatives.

As a mother of a physical therapist I'd say practice rising from a sitting position to standing 10 - 50 times as often as you can throughout the day. Eventually you'll be able to do it without using your arms. That will definitely help.

The foam was also stained and turning brown. I ordered the Coccyx cushion but I received this one. I can’t attach a picture here so I’ll put it in a review. You could buy the cheapest cushion on Amazon and it would be better quality. I imagine this to be the case with all their cushions.
