Answer:	When the mattress the pad is being used upon is a firm, innerspring mattress, this item will likely still work fine for someone under 120 pounds. However, if the mattress is not firm, or has anything "non-standard" about it, such as it is a TempurPedic, memory foam, or air mattress, or if there is some type of padding that has been added to the bed, this 10" x 30" sensor pad may not properly register the body at all times. This can cause false alarms, or majorly delayed alerts. Answer:	Rob- it did have on/off. Not sure on the AC Adapter... Batteries lasted a few weeks minimum. I don't remember there being any issue with them at all.Was happy with the product. Good luck.

Answer:	The transmitter inside the pad is powered by a non-replaceable lithium battery. The battery has been engineered to last the duration of the pad's life term, which is one year. Replacement pads are available separately from this system. Note that this system should always come with a one year warrantied sensor pad, not 45 or 90 days. If you ever receive anything but a one year pad, you should immediately contact Amazon and ask to return the item, as that means the seller you bought the system from is not offering the correct product. Answer:	The pad is not very thick and the sides are even thinner. It is is flexible but firm - it is kind of like the floor mat in your car. We had to remove the area rugs in our home because they were hard for my mom to maneuver around - she has no issues with this pad. Buying this pad was easily one of the best decisions I have made - I am able to sleep at night knowing that the alarm will sound if my mom tries to get up during the night.

There are currently two different versions of the TL-5102MP in circulation, and each of them take a different adapter. Question:	How does sensor work-just barrier being broken or does patient wear sensor
Answer:	If barrier is broken the sensor the pager will make a very loud sound. As there was no adjustment for sound control, we always placed the pager in another room. Trust me, you will hear the sound. This device was a life saver for the family as caregivers for our father. I daresay it prevented many falls and broken bones.
Question:	Does this have a narrow enough field of view to be used to monitor a front door without triggering whenever someone was walking around in the room
Answer:	Absolutely. We used it to monitor my Mom's hospital bed. Dad's was right next to hers and it only alarmed when she got up. My Mom is deceased do now we use it for exactly the application you asked about. We keep it on a bar by the front door. It alarms if Dad crosses it to the door, but not while the rest of us walk around the room. Just direct the beam to the area you need as though there is a string from the device to a point across the room. This thing is very much worth the money!
Question:	Has anybody used with pets? I have a cat. What would be the issues
Answer:	I haven't used it with pets but with my 90 year old Mom...it is great. It is loud but that is ok since it wakes me up quickly. You can always put it under pillows to muffle the sound. It is really sensitive. I have recommended it to several caregivers. I would think it would work with pets depending on the purpose.
