Answer:	I got a Bad Controller, and bad throttle from this this seller if you tried it already and it does not work its not going to work I bought Different controller and different throttle with a three speed shiftier from Kunray and motor worked perfect. Question:	What chain and sprocket size would I need
Answer:	It would depend on what your application is. It comes with 2 different size gears (t8f-11t and 9t gear). You can install any gear that will fit the "double D sided shaft".

Answer:	The Orange and red wire that is for the E-lock needs connected to a 2 wire ignition switch or you can connect the 2 ddirectly together using a jumper wire or a paper clip. If your not sure locate the wire diagram under customer reviews to make sure it's the E-lock because shorting the wrong 2 wires could blow the controller.
Question:	I want to convert my 2 stroke outboard boat motor will this work
Answer:	Actually, I did that conversion already. I converted my broken Evinrude Lithwin 3HP to run on that motor. You need to machine a few parts to do such conversion. Motor bottom plate, motor and controller holder and coupler to connect both shafts. I can give you more details.

Answer:	The wires are color coded so just place red to red. You don't need four batteries. One 1000w battery pack will work. It must be a 1000w battery.
Question:	How wide does the rear triangle need to be to fit the hub? I have a narrow single-speed bike and am worried from reviews it won't fit
Answer:	Great Question! The quick answer is the rear triangle needs to be much wider than a single speed. I have installed this kit on 2 different multi-speed bikes and had to widen the triangle on each one. I don't have specific measurements to give you but you will need to cold form the triangle to fit the hub. It is not hard to do if you are handy with tools. Other questions you need to ask are... Brakes. If you have a single speed with a coaster brake, Forget it. You will need to get a caliper type break kit (and a good one at that). Second is you are going to have a multi gear rear wheel with no derailier. Adjusting the chain so it stays on is going to be difficult at best. you could swap out the multi gear freewheel for a single speed but that will open up more problems and not solve the braking problem.My quick advice to you if you want to build one of these is to find a different bike. you will probably have to modify that as well but not as drastically. These things are a blast but you want to make sure you have a safe and solid set up.I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Answer:	Buy the best battery that you can afford. I also recommend that you go with the Lithium battery option and buy the largest Amp Hour (ah) rating that you can afford. The higher the ah the longer the range. You can find many options on Ebay but beware and carefully read about what exactly you are buying and where it comes from. After a lot of research I purchased my 48v (52v at full capacity) 20 ah battery pack from calibike.com as well. He met all the criteria that I was looking for including... Excellent price. The price included a top quality charger. Excellent built quality including the Battery Management System (BMS). He is located in the USA. I received my battery in less than a week. If you buy from over seas / China it can take a month or more to receive your order. I spoke to Calibike extensively via email and by phone before making my purchase. The owner was very happy to answer any and all my questions and was very prompt with replying. Take note of his recommendation on what size and type of fuse to get (the fuse set up with the kit is rubbish and you will soon be replacing it).That said, Also consider and plan for how you will carry/ attach the battery pack and ESC to your bike. The bag that comes with the kit is of poor quality and does not attach very securely nor will it last very long. As you are no doubt finding out the batteries cost more than the kit itself. Protect your investment.

Answer:	Yes . I have used similar set up and worked fine . This motor can also be overvolted but that will lower its total lifespan.
Question:	How much would 6 12v 7ah batteries last me when riding
Answer:	Assuming you intend to put them all in series to make a 72v nominal bank, the total of 6 batteries at 7ah is 7 amp hours. So if this controller realisticly pulls 50 amps as rated, 7 divided by 50 is 0.14. 0.14 times 60 minutes in an hour means about 8.5 minutes run time at full throttle till bank depletion. Of course, if you are using half throttle at half the amp draw, you get twice the time. See?

Question:	Why does the motor stay on at full speed? Only the batteries are connected
Answer:	That is normal u need the speed controller to vary the current going into your motor by useof the throttle. this is brushed motor,so when you connect the battery the motor will turn.This is the difference between a brushed motor and a brushless motor. Brushed motor do not have Hall wires.
Question:	Does this controller support reversing
Answer:	Controller can't support reversing, but you can change the motor and controller connect wires, controller yellow wire connect motor red wire, controller blue wire connect motor black wire. I have tried this and there is no difference in speed, I like it very much,and you can look product video.

Answer:	With a lot of modifications it could.
Question:	How many the motor speed
Answer:	It is a 3 speed motor. I'm trying to get the information for the switch they use for it. They did however give me the link to buy the throttle with incorporated reverse and 3 speed switches! Getting information from kunray is like pulling teeth.

Insufficient electric power continuation mileage after one-time battery charge

“Continuation mileage”means that after the new battery, means that after the new battery is fully charged, its weight is configured to 75kg(The total weight of the bike and the rider), the ambient temperature is 25℃±5℃, and the wind speed is not more than 3m/s. Ride on a flat secondary road until it reaches the mileage under the condition of battery undervoltage.

a) With the passage of time, the capacity of the battery has decreased. For example, the new battery may have a "continuation mileage" of more than 30 kilometers. After a period of use, the battery capacity will decrease as the use time increases, so the "continuation mileage" will decrease.

b) Riding under poor road conditions, headwinds, uphills, loads, frequent starts, insufficient tire pressure, etc., will make the riding current increase and the battery discharge time reduce, so the "continuation mileage" will be somewhat decreased.

c) As the temperature drops, the capacity of the battery will decrease. When the actual “continuation mileage” is at 25°C±5°C standard temperature, every 1°C drop will shorten the “continuation mileage” by approximately 0.5-0.6km.

d) Improper charging of the battery will reduce the capacity of the battery, thereby affecting the "continuing mileage".

-1 Riding in low temperature conditions. Once you get home, you can’t charge it at low temperature immediately. If you do, the battery will be falsely charged and the capacity will gradually decrease. Because at low temperatures, the chemical reaction on the battery electrodes is very slow, the charge acceptance is very poor, and it is difficult to fully charge. Therefore, you should put the battery to a room above 15°C, and then recharge the battery after 1 hour.

-2 Considering the riding distance and needs, frequent charging is beneficial to the battery life. However, when the battery is fully discharged and then recharged, due to the difference between the single cells during discharge, some single cells may be over-discharged. Over-discharge will greatly reduce the charge acceptance ability, cause insufficient charge, and gradually decrease the capacity. Therefore, when the battery discharges 50-70% of the power, it’s the right time to charge the battery.

Question:	I installed and hooked up the batteries, (3 12v in series), the wheel vibrates under load. Vibrating when riding. Help please
Answer:	I agree that you should check to make sure the tire/rim are installed correctly. Does the tire/rim spin easily when not being powered? Try suspending the tire/rim and spin it by hand and with power. It might be possible that the motor has bearing issues, but I am only guessing.

Answer:	100,000 miles if you maintain it. But if you're talking per trip, it totally depends on the amp hour capacity of your batteries. My 4 month old18ah batteries give me about 5 solid miles without pedaling with my 200lbs body.
