Answer:	I purchased a new set of these phones to replace a worn out 10 year old Panasonic set. I did notice the batteries needed to be fully charged 3 or 4 times before reaching max talk time. After a week or so on my desk ( and FULLY charging the batteries every other day) the phones now hold a charge quite well. These phones also provide an audible prompt when the battery level is low. I feel the batteries need to be 'conditioned' with repeated LOW BATTERY and FULLY CHARGED cycles before holding the longer charges. After a month or so of daily use I'm well satisfied with this set.

Either way telemarketers have ten or more numbers they use in random sequence, so if you can see the top and low you can block the last two consecutive numbers like 00-10, or 10-19 or maybe 00-99. This phone is saving my sanity and giving me a chance to sleep.

The first one I list is the newer model, and it is also less expensive than the second one.
Question:	I just want to be able to make and receive calls on my land line using a blue tooth headset. Can I do that? I do not need any cell phone compatibility
Answer:	I think this phone does have good loud and clear volume. It certainly is far better than my iphone, which I find to have very "smeared," muddled sound. That said, I am not sure any phone you buy today has anywhere near the clarity that old fashioned land lines used to have some decades ago. We only have the cordless handsets for this phone-- we don't have the version of this phone that includes a land line on the base, so I cannot speak to that part of the system. The handsets use HHR-4DPA rechargeable batteries. I am not sure how to answer with respect to their life-- we always keep each handset in its charger, and each charger, including the base station, is always plugged in, so each handset always recharges after use. We have only had this system for a month or two, so whether the batteries eventually die through long term use I haven't encountered yet.
