Answer:	You can print jewelry tags but the image area on these is small. The printer is 203 dpi and the resolution of the images would depend on the file size. Normally jewelry stores are using a thermal transfer option of the printer and the higher resolution option 300 dpi. That model is the GX430T. That would be our suggestion, but the 420D may also work, just not as well with the images.

Answer:	Don't believe you can. When I was looking for "Direct Thermal" labels, I had to find that specifically. Just know that this printer doesn't have a ink cartridge. It burns the information onto the label. It's really fast too. If you try the labelvalue.com, they are pretty cheap. The guy I replaced at this position used this printer for about 6 years and it was still functioning well. That's why I chose it. Let me know if you have any other questions.
