Question:	If you run out of a certain kind of ink, (like black or magenta) will it continue to print with the ink cartridges you have left
Answer:	There are 2 front load trays (no back feed). The large tray is on the bottom (for 8-1/2 x 11"); small tray is in the middle (for 5x7 and smaller). With the small tray, make sure you line up arrows when installing; it can easily be pushed in to far. Both these trays are auto feed. Answer:	No, the 630 came with 410 ink and I also bought the 273, but after talking to Epson who said this printer requires 410, I returned and cancelled the 273. The 273 is for the old 600 printer. I know the cartridges looks identical, but I wouldn't take the chance! Amazon should stop posting that comment in frequently bought with this printer!

Answer:	Yes you can. I just scanned a 5 page document using the document feeder. Worked great!

Answer:	Yes it hinges up. The rear hinges seem to be able to lift up higher than just a page, like on a book, but it definitely lifts up. I normally lift up the top to scan one or two pages vs. using the document feed.

Answer:	My photo printing was excellent quality. Adjusting the paper feed system is not an easy adjustment, but much easier on the fourth or fifth time you use it. One small thing is there is a 1/16" white strip on top and bottom. Tom

Answer:	The 880 has touch screen fax buttons instead of physical buttons, uses different print cartridge model numbers (newer possibly) and has NFC support for phones that support. I have not used a 870 so I'm not sure if the 880s touchscreen is more responsive but usually they update the processor on refreshes. Answer:	My keyboard tray over time came off too. I use my keyboard on top of desk in front of monitor now. It is still a great desk.

Answer:	Yes. The bottom drawer in my case didn’t line up properly. But the basement floor where the desk was located was uneven so that may have something to do with it.

Answer:	Yes, but it is very small so a scanner/printer ( like almost all regular printers now a days) wont fit in there. A small printer ( just printer, no scanner or fax like all those 3 in 1 printers) will fit. I have an hp printer/fax/ scanner that didnt fit on it so i had to get rid of it. I built my desk without it, besides in my opinion it doesnt look good. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'm having the same issue. I installed mine via my WIFI network and apparently when you do it that way it doesn't auto select and the directions don't explain it. I was reading in one of the forum on the Brother site and it explained how to install to get the auto select to operate. I just don't remember how to do it considering I need my network capabilities more than the auto select.

Answer:	The page yield of a cartridge is based upon the ISO standard for measuring ink cartridge yields by printing out pages with 5% page coverage* until the cartridge runs empty. *What does Page Coverage mean? Page coverage is how much of the page is covered with ink or toner. *What’s 5% Page Coverage? It means only 5% of the page has ink or toner on it. 500 pages is about right.

Answer:	The HLL3270CDW has a black toner. If your machine's cyan, magenta, or yellow toners run out, you can choose Mono in the printer driver to allow you to keep printing.
Question:	Is this an actual laser printer or only performs like a laser printer
Answer:	The HL-L3270CDW uses technology similar to our color laser printers but uses 4 LED assemblies instead of a laser unit.
Question:	Does it fax
Answer:	It won't scan or fax, but you can use services such as hellofax or hellosign to do that if you absolutely need to do so. You can also use an app called Microsoft Lens (free) for scanning from your smartphone.
Question:	When purchasing, does it come with the ink cartridges
Answer:	Yes, it comes with a set of toner cartridges. They are starter cartridges, but we have printer over 200 pages on them so far. Also, a full set of replacement cartridges from 3rd part manufacturers cost less than ink for most inkjet printers.
