Answer:	You probably could. If you put the laminate on one or both sides of your shape, you should be able to cut out the shape with no problem as the laminate adheres to each side. If you want to 'encase' or fully seal the shape (laminate on both sides) you can cut close to your shape but not all the way. You will have to leave an 'edge' of laminate so the 2 sides of the laminate adhere together.

Answer:	There is a slotted hole for the clip strap. You don't need a hole puncher.
Question:	is this hot or cold lamination
Answer:	The badge holder/pouches measure 3.75" wide by 2.55" high. So a 3.5" name tag will fit with additional space on the sides to provide a seal. The max height of the tag insert can be 2.2" to not cover the horizontal slot for the badge clip. If higher than 2.2" will require the trimming out of the horizontal slot.
Question:	Do i need a laminating machine rto use these
Answer:	They are 5mm thermal pouches and most pouch laminators can accommodate 5mm thickness film. If it's a roller type laminator that is typically used with roll film, then I'm not certain of the max thickness.

Answer:	in no case should they be laminated! Lamination is a heat process that by its very nature will cause damage to your keepsakes. An alternative is to use 2 sheets of mylar film. Close the edges with double-sided tape (archival tape if possible), making sure that no part of the papers you are protecting will come in contact with the tape. In this way, your document is safely protected, ready for display and no further deterioration can occur. This is specially important for any newsclippings or newspapers you might find that you want to protect. Newspaper is not designed to last long, and can damage photos, letters and other paper if not separated and protected. Make sure you protect newsclippings by using the mylar "folder" and put pages of alkaline buffered paper behind each clipping before sealing. Store them in an acid-free box in a cool, dry room.

Question:	Can the temperature be turned off so it runs as a cold laminating machine (or can the temperature be adjusted to a lower setting eg rooom temp
Answer:	You can, but it is not necessary. Just cut off the size you want after laminating but be sure to leave 1/8" to 1/4" border around the item to ensure it's proper seal.
Question:	What is the difference with a csl and aarl laminator
Answer:	I would say yes to the cardstock but no to the construction paper. It works just like the self laminating machine at a FedEx-Kinkos. The material in construction paper is too uneven that air bubbles would probably occur if you laminate it. In the past I have laminated construction paper (not with this machine) and it does not turn out.
Question:	It this a two sided laminating machine
Answer:	Hi- I haven’t used the cold feature or the pouches for cold lamination. Cold lamination usually uses a lamination pouch that comes with a sticky adhesive already inside and can be sealed without heat (these pouches don’t necessariky need to be sealed with a cold lamination as hey are self-adhesive). I’ve read that these are usually used for fragile documents that may be damaged by the heat of a laminator. I ordered the Crystal Clear 200 piece lamination sheets from amazon and they work well on all the lamination machines I’ve used.
Question:	can you laminate 8 x 10 or any small stuff
Answer:	Originally I thought it was meaning you can use two types of plastic laminating sleeves! BUT when you push that button the laminating sheet with back out... push out backward. It is there in case of a paper jam. Hope this helps! I LOVE MINE!!!
