How to pair the scanner with your device

1. Disconnect the USB cradle or receiver
2. Scan one pairing barcode on the manual
3. Turn on the blue-tooth of your device and then search our scanner to connect
4. The scanner will beep when it connects with your device
5. Open a notepad or your editable software, place the cursor in and then start to scan

How to use the scanner with the USB cradle or receiver?

Scan the barcode on cradle or receiver, then plug the scanner into your PC, the scanner will send the data to your PC via cradle or receiver.

NOTE: The scanner can only be paired with one device one time. If you have several workstations to receive data, you can purchase several scanners.

Presentation Mode-scan without pressing the trigger

Presentation Mode uses ambient light and scanner illumination to detect bar codes. When in Presentation Mode, the LEDs remain dim until a bar code is presented to the scanner, then the aimer turns on and the LEDs turn up to read the code.

NOTE:

• The LEDs are like a flash on a camera. The lower the ambient light in the room, the brighter the LEDs need to be so the scanner can “see” the bar codes.
• With powerful strong LED light, you can use the scanner even in the dark.

Rechargeable Lithium ion 2600mAh battery

With 2600mAh Capacity Battery, it can work 12 hours continuously after full charge. (Test the battery life with a machine, scanning rate one scan per second). If you only do hundreds scans per day, the scanner can work for half month.

To charge the device, place it directly on the cradle or connect to any active USB port. The red LED will turn on during charging. The scanner can be fully charged in around 5 to 6 hours.

When the battery is low, you will hear three high beeps from the scanner.

Over 400 configuration options

• Allow to add custom prefixes/ suffixes, delete characters.
• Add keyboard keys/ combinations (terminator TAB, CR, F1 to F12 etc.) to the scanning operation.
• Enable or disable the barcode type as you want.
• Turn on/off the beep

This TMSL-56 is a BLE base device, it supports GATT(Generic Attribute Profile) mode and Second further development. With device UUID and service ID, your app can access the scanned data very easily.

Question:	How do I remove check digit from transmitting
Answer:	If your Shopify allows external keyboard entry, our scanner should work. This scanner works like a keyboard. However some software on iOS devices may requires the MFI( made for iOS) certified products, so if you want a scanner to work with Shopify on iOS, we highly recommend you to contact Shopify for a certified scanner.
